What have you done to your P5 today?

Logged 460 miles yesterday to meet up with the NEPOC crew at RX8 Chicks for a housewarming and wrenching meet. Installed my Tokico HPs and Tein S-techs as well as some CF eyelids. I have no rear sway bar at the moment....have to order the MSP rear endlinks tomorrow.

VERY NICE! How do you like the suspension set up, sans rear sway for now though...

Let the fianc take it to work, so I'm stuck sitting at home with Tyler (almost a month old now) and weighing the pros and cons of coilover sleeves

Going to try to get alot of the small stuff done today.
Money is on lock down for my wedding. So I don't think I'll be upgrading the SC anytime soon.

What I was going to do. lol

Bigger crank pulley (more boost)
Air/water IC
And a better tune.

Oh well looks like I have to wait till next year.

Looks great!!!
I see that a lot of people are running this set up. Where are you buying it at? Can it be found as a kit somewhere? I'm also interested to hear about the ride quality.

s*** looks real good, mang.

Thanks and so far love the ride and looking forward to being able to really enjoy it once I:

get the rear sway attached (possibly upgraded - the endlinks are off and my stocker is rusted so why not? lol)...
get new tires, both rears are at the wear bars...

dang, cars come a long way Jeff!!!

Thanks Ty....she def. has. Funny that when I bought the car in Jan. of 2006 I had no intentions of modding her. Who would have thought that registering on a forum would have such a profound effect? lol

Looks really good Jeff! Hoping to get some coilovers come spring.

Thank ya Tony! If you haven't already, talk to Mark about the coilovers.

Looks great!!!

I bought mine used from MattV. You can find them at Protege Garage, c r o s s o v e r a u t o dot com (remove spaces) if you are looking for new. Not sure if they are sold as a kit though but you could always ask.

So far ride quality good. I had to take it easy on my 3.5hr trip home due to the rear sway not attached, the rear tires down to the wear bars and the hatch being loaded down (ask any of the NEPOC guys about my floor jack haha)

I agree and thanks!

congrats on the new suspension man.

On another note, I ordered almost all of my pieces for my battery relocation. The only thing left is a box/tie down. Can't wait to open up all that room in the bay.

The space will be used to install my oil catch can. It will also give me a lot of room to rearrange things and clean up the engine bay quite a bit. Should be a good time once it's all said and done. The battery is being relocated to the trunk.

Where are you mounting the box at? I did a flush mount install of the box into the floor of the trunk so it was hidden away. I can get pics if interested.

Ill be relocating my battery right behing the glove box. Im taking out the heater and all that stuff behind there...maybe. lol

That would be great. I'm still about 4 weeks from doing this since I'll be home then so I'd like to keep my options open as far as mounting locations for the battery go. You could just PM those pics to me.

Woohoo! Replaced the spindle bolt on the rear drivers side and got aligned! Glad that's all it was.......ceptin the quarter panel needing a lil touch up.

Went from this....

To this, with 15 minutes of wd-40 and clean shop rag and 1 hr of unbolting, checking & reassembly.....

Now to the body shop next......
