What have you done to your P5 today?

oh hers is due to stupid offset.

I had 215's on mine and they BARELY fit a playing card between the tire and stock strut on MSP Racing Harts

when i lowered on eibach/tokico blue, had no problems

I didn't understand why you had issues in the rear with the 215's on the EnkeiHarts. I had them on my P5 with Blues and S-Techs with plenty of space?

ok so im running 17x7 +45. with coilovers, and lowered enough, will the fender rub with a 215/40?

It will be close in the back. @ +45 you may be fine, but I'm not sure. @ +40 you will rub, lol. A mild fender roll and/or camber adjustment will fix it very easily, tho.

+45 you should be fine...and if not, you live in Ohio. You'll be fine soon enough. ;)

Well, if you would have been on the forum like...3 weeks ago, I had a fender rolling tool in my garage! Evan is shipping it back today though.

I may buy one... quite useful.

1: heat gun to keep paint malleable.
2: rubber mallet
3: patience.

edit: 4: wood block to give you something to hold against the fender that won't damage it and that isn't your fingers...

This method works well. Just take your time and be patient. Slow and steady wins the race. ;)

If you need more of a roll, you can cut recesses in the metal lip.

But, if you rush/hurry through it, you end up with ripples, paint cracks like I have from the previous owner. (pow)

I didn't pay s*** for the rental. Let's just say someone knows someone who decided to help us out.

I've got a heat gun at the house. We can fix you right up.

I got my quote back from the insurance adjuster, they quoted $600 before the deductible which is $250, so I decided to get a personal check. It doesn't matter because even if I went through the body shop I'd have to pay the $250 so it's basically the same thing as me eating it in a personal check.

i used a ball peen hammer on mine lol i used a metal saw to cut the lip at the very beginning and end so i could bend it back flat
then i heated it up, hit it and bent it back, working my way around the fender, its pretty even, u honestly cant even tell
some paint cracked off the inside of the lip, because i was using an actual hammer lol so i just sanded it and taped it off, then sprayed some rubberized undercoating on the inside, bam, good as new

So you get $350 cash money? Use some foam filler, touch up paint & a sticker to fix the bumper and buy some suspension goodies!

That's the way my brain works, haha. But my MP3 sure as hell isn't a show car.
