What have you done to your P5 today?

Finally sent my teins off to get overhauled...its going to take 5 weeks to get there....stupid island...

Finding one all together...they are on backorder from Mazda and only a few dealers have them listed in stock...they are the closest that I knew people lived around...
 
Drove the car to work! Woot!

After an hour of driving around town and on the highway last night the temp gauge stayed at normal temps so all is good.

Also picked up a tranny filter kit. Now I need to decide which ATF to buy so I can flush the system and install the cooler. I'm leaning towards the Mobil1 at the moment.
 
I drove to work early so I could stop and get a car wash, but noooo they were having soap trouble so I am here 45 minutes early.

Sorry......

T-stat and system flush did the trick.

I ran the car for an hour last night up and down the local highway along with 20 minutes or so of city traffic and the needle never moved. Along the way I stopped at Autozone and picked up the tranny filter kit for when I flush that system and install the cooler.

I'll be picking up the coolant temp sensor as well as replace it tonight. Since I ordered it and the car has 118k as well as the recent overheating issues, I figure it can't hurt. lol

thanks guys i used duplicolor engine enamel (no clearcoat), and i just cleaned it lightly sanded it and taped it off, very easy

GOT MY CAR FIXD!!!1
took it in for an alignment at the dealer and told them about my shifting problem, so i talk to the main mechanic, some guy who looked like a straight hill billy, had like 5 teeth lol but he was actually was really cool and knew his stuff
he took the car for a spin with me in it, and shifted into 3rd no problem, i was like WTF lol but dam my car pulls, this guy was pushin it to 5-6k and i dont even do that

but my day is great now that i have a 3rd gear and a car that drives straight :D
