What have you done to your MSP today?

There is a resistance test you can do jumping 2 of the wires with a meter and blip the throttle...can't access the online shop manual for some reason to know which 2 wires though

I replaced mine with a universal bosch from the auto parts which is the same sensor but you just splice it in and save $100

Sweet! I'll try replacing the o2 sensor first and see if it helps. I was think that possibly the exhaust manifold gasket needed replacing, but I talked to the mechanic which I've taken my car to many times before (and does a great job) said it'd be at least $180 and could easily be a $1000 or more if a stud is broken inside the head.

I'm driving 1,000 miles for an G series transmission...

Have fun on your trip to Ohio.

Just need to bleed the clutch and put the AWR coilovers on after fitting them to my track tires. Tomorrow is going to be a great day :)

To keep you all informed, I just went and drove my car around to let it reach normal operating temperature. I then parked it while still running and looked around all the intake piping/manifold and exhaust. I found nothing, nor heard anything major besides a hardly noticeable hissing coming from up by the throttle body area. Not sure if it is normal to hear this noise in that particular are or not, but I am getting extremely frustrated with this idle issue.

Seriously bro!!!??? ******* seriously!!!! A brand new alternator's charge screw just broke in the middle of the road! Autoparts international, u ******* piece of s***!

Damn it! It must have been recently, because it was there last time I was up there..

Stood in front of it and debated parting out......then started thinking of how much I lobe my msp....so it will be fixed

in other news, I went and looked at my new dd and it will be mine tomorrow

swapped both cam and crank sensors on the car with another car with no luck...and still won't have a scan tool or multimeter until hopefully the end of the week

yeah exactly. Today marks exactly one month since the car ran. Im slowly reaching the point where Im starting not to care anymore. Hopefully a scan tool or multimeter tells me something when I get one. If I can't figure it out with those, it's going to a shop. If they can't figure it out, well...**** it. Look forward to a part out because honestly Im getting tired of getting nowhere with this car.

yeah me too. I spoke with a few guys including 505 about the casting mark issue and nobody has had issues with it with this batch. and so far, I am the only one having issues out of everyone who got a manifold from the 2nd group buy. Also looking at the flange, it doesn't appear to hit anything at all. So, Im ruling the manifold install out of my issue.

thats one more thing scratched off the list of possible problems.

ive changed gaskets on my AWR oil pan three times now, and it continues to push oil out around the bolts....
