What have you done to your MSP today?

damn, I want my GT Spec front strut bar so bad, by the end of the week too, lol need like 2 more people! I know some of you people want them!

but today I drove my car to the bank to see a hot teller and deposit my money haha, I really need to tune the car though, damn thing hits fuel cut so easily with this weather.. or in any weather for that fact..

you have a funny definition of the word "need".

so, looks like sunshine pics of my temp wheel setup will be impossible. weather is uncooperative.

lol ya it seems that everyone is quick to jump on with these things, and then it comes down to the last person, or last 2 people in my case that makes everyone wait, then a little while later someone comes by and asks about it after it's over(kinda like what I did but ya lol I check more often now)

ditto, as far as the need part lol, and ya I want this weather to warm up a little so I can tune my car without needing to retune it a couple days later if I did it now when it's still cold.. weather sucks

Thinking about upgrading the steering wheel. Looks awesome in justin and n2ks cars. But whats the benefits to them.

I did mine alone. just gotta pin the wrench against something when you're doing the upper mounts. lol

i was able to figure it out, just took alot longer than i t could have. Trunk cage and front strut bar installed. I't s raining so everything else will have to wait

quick question, I had bent the little spring inside the caliper holding the breaks in last year, I had a mechanic "fix" it, but it only worked for a week or so, it had dug into my rotor a good deal before he fixed it, but anyways last weekend I realized that the caliper was a reworked one and wasn't even really snug on the rotor like is should be, so I replaced the whole caliper on there with the stock one, and switched the break pads over like they were in the old one, I also used the springs(the things that hold the breakpads in) from the stock caliper so I know that is good, but I noticed that it still squeaked the other day when lightly breaking at very slow speeds, like when going to a stop sign around campus, I thought switching the calipers would fix that..

now my thought is that since the spring had originally put a nice little ring around the rotor, and it is just barely about level now so you can't really see it anymore(after a full year later, it was digging in there pretty good in a short time) that I would have had to have the rotor turned to keep it from squeaking maybe, but since it's drilled and slotted they didn't do that, or they just didn't do that anyways, but ya should I expect to have the squeak go away after it is flush again, and since nothing else is digging in, and since the break pads don't need to be replaced yet, and the others are fine I figure it's not because the break pads are warn out..

just curious if there are any simple explanations to this from anyone that has more experience with breaks and break pads ect...
