What have you done to your MSP today?

these cars are too inconsistent and condition-dependant to say if a given mod list will or won't break 200whp. and I'll bet if you tuned it agressively enough, and kept the IC cool enough you could pull 200 out on a completely stock setup. by agressively enough, I mean really damn stupid though.. so I say this merely to make a point.

I won't be surprised if I put out lower numbers anyways since I plan on going for a conservative and safe tune. I'm really going for longevity with this car and I feel a correct tune will help in that department...

I've blown more Protege engines than I care to think about, I'm gonna try to avoid #4, mmkay? But, if they ever end up making a Mazdaspeed 2, I'd consider that in a heartbeat!

Got the smog done today. Thats with the SSafc and MAM midpipe on. I just didnt feel like taking them off and since they offer free retest i gave it a go. And it the mofo Passed. Now windshield will be replaced on monday and ill focus on brakes/rotors next. Gotta get her back out on the track.

washed and vacuumed it, filled it up with 93 octane as usual and cruised around just to kill time...then ran into another spicy driving around with dealer tags still on it..(yessss, now Im not the only spicy on Ft. Hood)(yippy) even though there are plenty of 03.5's around. Can you believe that none of them are into modding them at all. They probably don't even know it's boosted.

I stepped back up to 215/45/17's Hankook Ventus EVO 12's on my 17x8.5 +30's. Look's way better, ride's much nicer that 205/40 falken Azenis.

No more stretched tire look.

lol, that's funny. I don't know though. They may know, they may not know but I have seen two titaniums and two yellows and I always wave or flash my lights and they look at me like "what the hell is your problem". Im trying to start a little mazda crew in my area and all four of them were told about it and only one called me but never showed up. They are all stock except for one that has a CS exhaust and some new rims. It's funny how all of the MP3s and MP5s in my area are into modding including a couple of boosted MP5's. But no MSPs.

If they're stock, I don't bother cause they probably don't care. If they're in tip top shape though and clean, thats different. I usually also say hi if the car is mildly modded and most of the time they become a new mazda friend.
