What have you done to your MSP today?

Wanna see more pics of the new wheels!

I have a set of Muteki lugs on now, for the winter. They're black, nice and tiny -- solid company and not too expensive. Usually run around $50 a set.

+1.... I've got blue anodized Muteki's on mine. They're open ended, so the lug key goes inside the lug; not outside. No damage to the rims from the lug wrench!

well i got my exhaust on the car. its alot bigger in person. i had to cut the studs off of the mid pipe and drill them out. ill get pics when the weather is better. i may find a place in fl to take pics when i get down there

I started working on painting my car today. I got the front bumper, front lip side skirts and rear lip all sanded down today and primmer-ed. I still have to wet sand it tomorrow and get some of the imperfections in the pieces out where they were used.

I also am doing a Hood for one of my dads trucks that is going on his lot. Its for a chevy Colorado.

Front bumper all sanded up.

One of the side skirts all most done.

These are all sanded and ready just waiting on me to finish up with the front lip. I had to do some body work on the front lip, so I saved it for last.

So all the hard work was done, I finally got to shoot some primer. I still have to go back and fix some divits and junk, that the primer didn't fully cover so I will more than likley have to give it a few more coats. I gave it two full coats and multiple coats over little dimples and such trying to get them out.

so awesome that it deserved 2 posts. lol

looks like its comin along nicely

Also, I am wet sanding them tomorrow and then if any spots show up that is when I will re-coat them if the primer didn't fully cover it.

got a compression check done . 185psi across the board. also quoted 670 for timing belt/idler pully, accesory belts and water pump. parts and labor. I just might do it since its gonna cost almost as much in parts alone and I dont have to kill a sunday and some(yea right I get it running on first start up)

wow, looks like a lot of work! but i'm sure it will come out nicely...
my car could sure use this treatment.

Yea that's the problem with black cars. I am a fan of blacked out cars, but never want to own one again after my black Spec V. I had to get the front bumper repainted, which cost me 400 bucks but was an excellent job. The whole car had swirl marks all over it...but from a distance it looked pretty fine.

That, and a black car is instantly dirty again the moment you pull it out of the garage!

My dad is taking two cars and making one good wreck. Its actually a pretty common practice. its called clipping a car. There is many different ways you can do it like front, rear side clips and then there are front and rear quarters you can do and everything.
he will take those two pieces and cut them where they will slide into each other and he will weld it up. When he gets done with it the only way you can tell it was wrecked it 1. remove the carpet and see the seems that he welded up and sealed with body sealer and painted over or underneath the car where it will be re under coated and everything. some people just like to slide the two pieces together and butt weld it. but that is not strong at all. but how we do it is slide the pieces into each other where the rails are and stuff and the post where the wind shield is in this case. and it will be as strong if not stronger when he gets done with it. its really neat to watch it take place.

sound deadened the entire trunk.... totally different tone when shutting the trunk now, the lid doesn't open as fast (replaced some of the lost weight from removing the spoiler), and the stereo sounds MUCH better. Well worth the $20 I paid to a buddy of mine after we did an oil change/tire rotation on his mz6 and cx7... and gave his 6 the same treatment as my car. No more trunk/rear deck/plate vibrations FTW!

They are making a limo out of it!
A limo cavalier? uh.....
