As far as turbo goes its a "Modded" gt28rs. spools like a 28rs but has a bigger comp wheel flows more like a 3071. Goin to get it tommorow i cant wait haha
LOL, I've actually posted in that thread... So I take it you have installed this? Did you experience the leaning out that some others did? I've already dealt with one fuel issue with my fuel rail, I don't want to mess with another one at the fuel pump.nice man what turbo are going with

Haha, awesome. No, it won't bother me but it will probably bug the hell out of my fiance'.no i never got the lean issue, i actually never heard of the lean issue before. Must have not read it enough. Some ppl dont like it but i do, you can really hear that fuel pump, sounds like a mini supercharger in the back seat lol.

well, didn't do anything today, but felt like subscribing to this thread haha
EDIT: maybe you guys will be able to help me out actually...
right now I'm having cold start issues...the car idles high (though not unusually high) during cold start, and when you tap the gas it just dies...if you tap it just right it will just barely keep going and then not have that problem afterwards....however it still hesitates a LOT from idle when its not fully warmed up and will backfire through the intake a lot as well
all issues clear up after cold start is done however >.<
what I have done:
replaced ALL intake gaskets, including egr
cleaned egr
checked timing (its spot on)
replaced PCV (with mellinia pcv....replaced when replaced gaskets and fixed warm-up idling issues)
still no avail....theres a lot more Ive done too I'm sure but can't think of it now since I'm tired
any ideas?
EDIT EDIT: I do note that I have a check engine light for fuel system circuit, or something along those lines....and I'm 99% sure I have the vacuum wiring wrong for the fpr and top of the manifold....can anyone take a picture of the vacuum lines up there?
intake related mods: jdm intake cam, 626 intake manifold (no butterflies), perrin fuel rail, injen cai (non-relocated maf)

so this is a tuning issue and I can alleviate it after I get the microtech in with some tuning?
