What have you done to your MSP today?

Got ya. That sounds like a fun time :D. 21 psi is gonna give you some BIG numbers. Hope you have some good tires and engine mounts lol.

I may be wrong but I don't think the stock turbo can go up that high.

EDIT. Yea, that was it. I knew I read something about it a long time ago.

i think the idea is good. but the pictures are so crappy, it's hard to see the craftsmanship dude. get a couple better lit pictures!

i'm actually gonna redo it. I just picked up a "shaft collar" to replace the spacer so I can set the shift boot height wherever I want it. oddly enough that pic was taken around noon today.. cam just did something funny with the light for whatever reason.

**** haha cuz they guy at the shop is running the same turbo in his car at 25 pounds so i thought it would be ok at 21, 18 its is then haha

Or maybe the guy is just full of s***. He could also have disco potato internals in the T25 housing... s*** who knows. Ask him for more info about it.

im also thinking of wraping the roof and part of the hood black to hide the scratches what do you all think of that?

I'd be interested to see how it looks. i like the look of the shifter w/ the boot lower, showing some of the shifter off, personally.

if he has the mp nick rebuild it MIGHT be possible.. otherwise, it's not helping him.
Hmm that's weird. Maybe it's a different T25? Either way I don't see how it could do 25 psi on such a small turbo.

it's not possible.. it will hinder not help performance.

I guess my comment would be "Why?"

Why not? Can't recall the member name but a red P5 on here did it and I think it looks stellar. In fact, I might think about doing it. I mean, if you get a rubber handled screwdriver, then you have grip for shifting. Plus, it's not something everyone has... yet. Unique factor, cool factor, and cool (as in temps) factor. One reason I hate the stock MSP shift knob and pedal combo... hot summer days = burnt hands and no flip flops (I take em off when driving). Floorboard A/C FTW there.
