What have you done to your MSP today?

well, the spicy is finally up and running again...she's been down for 2 1/2 months. i'm having a few issues...
1. the turbo timer doesn't keep the car running...the power is on, but the car is not idling...also, the 'brake' light on the dash doesn't come on
2. weird boost...i boost between 3-5psi...and it's not at one costant psi ever...it'll boost to 3, spike to 5...boost to 4, spike at 5...or just boost at 5...yeah, i don't quite get this one.
3. i wired the gauges as directed...but the light on only 1 of the 3 is actually coming on...and the needle on the boost gauge is shaking while i'm in boost...otherwise, it's very responsive to the gas pedal...idle = 23psi vac.

the motor mounts were quite a shock. i expected vibrations, but damn.

i'm just glad she's running again...i *cough* filled an o2 sensor bung that wasn't being used with...quicksteel...yeah, ghetto...but it worked...and none of the parts stores seemed to have had a plug for it.

Damn Chris. I have a 12 point socket for the ARP studs and I have an extra O2 bung plug (too late now!)

dammit, scott! hahaha...no problem

i installed a new forge wga.

terbow told me he had the same problem with the forge wastegate. He couldn't get it to steadily hold boost. I have driven his car and it holds steady at 9 psi like none i have seen before. So I know it wasn't due to his setup.

i was thinking about getting a manual boost controller...i know i have a good source (6 inches of vac. line coming off the turbo housing), so it's not that...if the mbc doesn't work, i have no clue what i'll do.

Well time to get ready for the crappy winter months :( So put back on my racing harts and Blizzaks (sp?). I love these tires.

Today i removed my 626 Intake manifold to see where were the leak i had, TBK putted a Rubber FEL PRO Intake Manifold gasket, everything looked good, I'm currently having a Huge Vac leak through the Injectors, the O-Rings were ****** up and the Injectors were not sealing correctly, i also left my Intake manifold in my friends shop to get me some nice Bosch KE-Jectronic Injector O-Rings and fix the leak issue by also modifying the way the Perrin Fuel rail sits in the Intake manifold,, I'm so glad my IM is not cracked or warped I'm going to replace all gaskets and torque the IM correctly this time and also i will add the IM bracket TBK lost. I'll post pics tomorrow when i get everything back...

awww no pichers? lol I just wanted to use that image.(headbang)

I couldn't find the damn O-Rings on time bro, and now i have to wait until tomorrow to put everything back together, I hope this fixes the leak issue, and also some random overheating issues I'm currently having.. also without the IM install i was looking for the oil leak I'm having and no signs of any oil leak anywhere behind the block, Where timing belt is... this leak is getting me crazy because i can't find from where is coming from..

be careful torquing down the head, they strip easy and the studs like to break if they are stock >.<

Installed my weapon-r engine damper and by far its in teh top two best mods that I've done between the MSP and P5!! Vibrations aren't noticeable anymore with a awr front, medieval trans, and rear SU motor mounts!!! My dash no longer rattles on take off and idel feels so much smoother!
