What have you done to your MSP today?

^^^ +1, listen to Ryan here, he's got it right. If I could find it, there's an entire thread devoted to which is the correct way. Either works, but the more beneficial way is on the PCV line. I've actually seen people with two catch cans: one in the PCV line and the other in the intake/breather line. I didn't have any oil coming through my breather filter so mine is in the PCV line where it is definitely catching oil (damn thing leaks too).

Have you figured out yet why you are burning so much oil?

Thanks for the backup jon lol

Not yet (been too lazy to run a leakdown or compression test) but it seems to be burning less lately. I'm not sure if it's because of the warm weather or not but I haven't seen any puffs of smoke in a long time. It still burns some oil though (or it has since I've moved to OH) because I've noticed oil spots on what is an otherwise new OH licence plate. I can manage; I have two vehicles and I only drive the P5 about half the time.

i mean i know you can also attach it in the PCV valve but you also need to do some s*** to make it fit, and since this way is a direct connection to the fittings of intake and valve cover.. my engine don't blow oil so i did this just to not have my catch can laying around. also like you said I've seen people running dual oil Catch can and they connect one to the PCV valve and the other in the valve cover,, C'mon let's see who can post the instruction and pictures where you really put these in an MSP

Got my trans all back together and going to put it back in the car tonight again..gonna keep my fingers crossed that it works this time.

Finally, tomorrow an inspector is coming to see my car to give me a permit to get my license plates, and if everything comes out good on Friday or lates Monday next week i can drive my car here in Spain legally. I didn't even needed to legalize the aftermarket stuff the car have, since the car came as a personal belonging and residence change and also coming from United States.. all came up to 440 Euros, to get the Spanish papers, permits, license plates, and to be able to insure the car, I'm so damn happy.. hahahah all of my friends just don't know the new boss have arrived in town !!!!!!

I'm so happy everything went through the inspection perfectly, they accepted everything the car have installed and even the front tinted windows, even tho they are prohibited in here in spain... next week I'm getting my license plates and all of the papers to insure the car.. After over 18 months of pain and tears without having my car in my possession i will be free to drive my car and to enjoy it again, but these time in another continent, according to them these is the only legally registered 2003/03.5 Mazdaspeed Protg currently driving the Spanish roads, pictures and videos are coming up next.. Very soon the RS Cosworth's Kingdom will be in danger. lol lol lol lol
