What have you done to your MSP today?

I'm going to install an SSAFC for a local MSP owner today. He's going to give me the factory sum/amp assembly with an aftermarket sub (I think) for doing it. He's also going to buy a couple of stock parts. I need to replace my manifold gasket and rear brakes on mine.

yep, a foxbody with 3x the hp, a built motor, and tranny already for less than the cost of a built msp motor. My mom needs a car so she will be getting the msp. I'm still "keeping it in the family" lol but she doesn't need a 505 intake mani, twiggy cams, a big ass turbo ect.

How much were u looking to get for the cams ?

MSP#2 has the axles back in it and the suspension back on. I'm trying the come up with a better way to route the intercooler piping. I hope this thing fires up with little to no hastle. Then I need to convert the headlights back to the normal setup and get rid of the HID mess that is in there now.

DDM's or one of the boots crap out? The right one used to flicker sometimes.

One of the headlamps was broke and 2 bulbs are busted and there is a bad boot on the one. Just going to convert it back to stock to get rid of the wire mess, easier to find a problem, and less hastle.

i got used ddm's installed for 2 years now. they always flicker when u first turn them on lol

Considering I dont have a job right now, one would imagine that Id be able to find the time to put a manifold gasket on... so, hopefully I'll do that today...

I'm in need of an opinion from some of you. I'm trying to clean up my water lines for the turbo. Right now I'm using the throttle body coolant nipples and it looks like crap. I'm trying to get ahold of the banjo fitting and line that comes from the back of the block as well as the OEM hose that returns coolant back to the upper rad hose.

If I can't get my hands on these, what do you think about putting a tee at the outlet of the oil cooler and one at the upper rad hose? If not there, where would you suggest to hide all the hose to make it a little cleaner in the engine bay???

I'm looking for the turbo water lines. All of them from the back of the block including the banjo and fitting all the way to the turbo and then from the turbo all the way to the rubber elbow that returns to the upper rad hose.

I'm lookin for #'s 69, 68, 71, 18, 22, 24, clamps and bolts if you have them.

If you only have some of them I may still be interested.

Just need to get a battery for the Silve car and hopefully she'll fire right up. Should find out by the end of this week hopefully.

so for those that rocked the mx'5 wheels on their MSP, did they require a spacer to clear the strut/calipers? if so, will a 5mm spacer do? i think i remember reading that somewhere but i can't find it.

I don't recall needing a spacer, I never ran those rims but I test fit a similar set of NC 17s and they fit fine. They have the same +55 offset and backspacing as the MSP RHs, I believe.

Yea boy! Nothing like finding a treat when working on the car..replacing my oil pan and I find ARP bolts on my pistons! Looks like the motor is built, I thought it was since when I bought it I found K1 rods and wiseco piston stickers in the trunk.. Sweet! now time to up the boost!
