What have you done to your MSP today?

The dealer sells the O Ring as well. Or i'm sure any parts store has plenty of them

OKay nice, sounds good. Just re-lubricated rear sway bar bushings for the season. Noticed the rubber on the endlinks is torn a little on the endlinks, is this the sign when I should replace them? If so, whats recommended the the racing beat sway bar?

Getting into 1st and 2nd is getting tough. I can't believe syncros are going? Not smooth. However, it gets better as trans heats up. Thinking my choice of trans fluid not good.
I used Castrol Synthetic 75-90 when I refilled tranny. I was never happy with this in my Miatas either.
Going to order some Red Line 75-90 ~~~ unless I should use MT-90 (but big temperature swings here so 75-90)?.

I'm having the exact same issues in my 03 that I never had in my 03.5. The 03.5 got Redline it's entire life post 28k miles. Not sure what went into the black one, but I put Mobil1 into it when I rebuilt it and I plan on changing to Redline this upcoming weekend. Hopefully that resolves the issue.

MSP work this past weekend: Installed WBO2, converted windshield washer nozzles to Mazda6, greased rear sway bushings, pulled off Corksport skidplate, threw on the summer tires.

Well its pretty much done I made a few mistakes but looks a s*** ton better. Here are a couple pics and thanks for the info on gel coating etc I decided to just spray a clear lacquer. I have not compounded buffed or waxed yet. Still deciding on if I want to I kind of like it as is.

Motor is in and all wired, but the clutch won't bleed out. Feels like it is just pushing air. There is plenty of fluid in the res, but nothing still. WTF! Any suggestions? Neer had this problem with any of the other motor swaps I've done to either MSP.

Will it freely gravity bleed?

What preferio is about to say is you can pick up a great clutch hydraulic system in your local junkyard really cheap (slave, master, lines) that would work GREAT on your car.(boom01)

Shouldnt you be in some other subforum annoying someone else with misinformation or stupid questions?

Finally had the check engine come on again so hopfully chasing down this problem. Had a p0421 (warm up catalyst efficiency bank 1) and a p0090 (fuel pressure regulator 1 control circuit). Could the fpr cause rough idle, hessitation in acceleration, and a vac leak? And this would be the actual regulator and not the sensor correct?

Testing the solenoid is easy.. It's got 2 terminals. Apply power and ground to terminals and see if it clicks. If it does, it's most likely okay, though I suppse it could be an intermittent problem, but that's unlikely. You can also vacuum test the regulator to make sure the diaphragm is good.

I'll have to test it after work today.. advance auto can't get the fpr sensor so where else could I get the sensor from? I haven't checked O'Reillys yet but maybe they'll be able to get it

I'm getting ready to sell off all my performance parts I'v been hording since '09. Time to move on. To what? Here's a hint. 5.0.

Damn, sad to see another one go. And my guess is Mustang but that's usually the go to model for 5.0, maybe you have something else in mind.

yep, a foxbody with 3x the hp, a built motor, and tranny already for less than the cost of a built msp motor. My mom needs a car so she will be getting the msp. I'm still "keeping it in the family" lol but she doesn't need a 505 intake mani, twiggy cams, a big ass turbo ect.

I'm going to install an SSAFC for a local MSP owner today. He's going to give me the factory sum/amp assembly with an aftermarket sub (I think) for doing it. He's also going to buy a couple of stock parts. I need to replace my manifold gasket and rear brakes on mine.
