What have you done to your MSP today?

Picked up a gently used Fidanza flywheel and excedy stage 1 clutch. Next on the list is to send out the underdrive pulley to get milled down to just the inner belt lines.

Installed some Weapon R hardpipes... and yeah I've had them pop off twice now. Once at the intake manifold, and once at the turbo/hot pipe. Still when they are holding I am definitely noticing some improved acceleration and spool up, and they look so much better than stock

i hear to use hairspray before putting the coupler back on to keep it from popping off.

GT2871 came in 2 days ago, so far its been a giant paper weight and ive just been admiring it. and sucks that I have a busy schedule this weekend with work and family. so looks like itll be sitting in its box until possibly next weekend.

Assuming your OEM unit isn't totally screwed and/or rusted hardware, you should sell it to me.

O_O I don't think anyone else on the forum has had your luck. Maybe solid pass side mount and trans mount? Too much power not enough support maybe? Do you even know how much hp/tq you're trying to make? Or just bolting crap on and just running with it?

I'm running an incredibly rich tune and 13-14psi... I never in a million years would have thought that would happen. It happened at the rear mount mounting ear. I can't imagine I'm over 250 right now. The end goal is 300whp.

scary scary scary. Can't fathom why that little hp is giving you so many issues. makes me question if you are a really a tech. lolz (crazy)

I'm going to pick up another transmission next week sometime and throw it in.

Hmmmm I have not had that issue with my tranny, then again mine has been totally rebuilt!

Lol... man sorry dude you have the worst luck ever! This is the absolute first time I've seen this... Definitely not tooo much torque! But I would say the idea of too much sloshing around is definitely gonna break s***... All my mount are diy'd with near 90A urethane... my engine and tranny can only torque about 1/2" at most.

The side mounts greatly help with wheelhop but the front and rears will help with smoother more precise shifting as the power goes up. I see a lot leaving out one side which only makes it worse for the opposing side.

G series transmissions are a dime a dozen and, at this point, I can R&R one pretty freakin' quick.

Good luck on the tuning. It's a slow process, took me about 30 hours over a 6 month period to dial in my microtech tune on the road. Now it's pretty clean 11.3-11.8 in boost and 14.5-15.2 in cruise. I learned so much doing it. Now I understand why shops charge so much.

What he said...

Haltech... even my antique can be setup to run closed loop and datalog the difference in my tuned maps +/- a percentage from stoich to get most of the map smooth as silk. Except for idle and boost of course.

DTC P0172, which is totally expected. Waaaaay too rich. Going from vacuum to boost, to about 2psi, the car hesitates but clears up immediately after that, but still excessively rich. Thinking either tune/injectors or MAF...
