What have you done to your MSP today?

pull the fuel in "feed" line and turn the car off. if fuel comes out your pump is good
Not true... The pump can be pumping, but not providing enough pressure... So that would prove nothing except that it was pumping... You can't watch the exiting fuel and tell if the pump is pumping at a required minimum 65psi or a weak 35psi.

Well atleast if he sees nothing comes out its a Def not working. But then again he never said the car wasnt running. Could be going out.

Not if there is coolant in the compressor housing being forced into the charge piping....
Well that's why we are going to bypass the coolant so it doesn't run through the turbo anymore, and clean that all up as well , put the FMI on also . And see what happens from there .... Car is running mint now and still getting boost as well ..

car won't start, just turn over

what are possible reasons for a car to turn over but not start?

I've come up with bad fuel pump, blown fuse, loose or disconected wire, bad coil pack, the car just hating me, karma, loose vaccum line, melted wires, sugar in the gas tank. That's all I can come up with at the moment.

When I was leaving job#1 the cart started like normal, started backing out of my spot and the car stalled and wouldn't restart. Atleast I got my free AAA tow in before the year was over. Now debating on turning it back to stock depending what's wrong.

I know, you ninja'd my repost. it's on the list of things to check

that's always the #1 thing to do with these cars
That's the first thing to do with any car... Go to a BMW technical training class.... They're sneaky bastards... They'll cut one of the terminals off of the fuse, so just doing a visual inspection the fuse looks fine and dandy, then you spend 30 more minutes just wasting time looking for other causes for your problem that aren't there... And they won't ever tell you...

Ordered my full gauge piller last night, have my boost gauge now have to order my oil pressure gauge and save up for the wideband gauge ....

Cleaned the inside thoroughly and changed the oil, P0171 CEL is back frequently after the SSAFC install. Need to find or make a good map for the car, i'm not extremely happy with it like I should be.
