What have you done to your MSP today?

^^ haha ya, my uncle out in Ohio strongly suggested that I switch my front license plate from my front windshield to my front grille until I leave Ohio at least, he is a big car guy and we set it up actually pretty nice so I am keeping it there until I go across country at the end of May with my friend, but he said the cops there are really really crazy about the plates, but ya really, I think the cops at Uconn were just shutting everything down, and one way to keep people from even driving through is to pull everyone over lol, but it's funny because I heard 5 other cars with exhausts when I was pulled over, but ya the cop was just being a dick.. and there is no way in hell I am going to take my tint off haha, it's 15% and I don't really care, 30% is way to lite in my opinion.

and ya I was just thinking while I was sitting there, "come on, come on, my foods getting cold and I just want to get home.. this is ridiculous" I couldn't believe the guy was serious, I had trouble not laughing when he said my exhaust was too loud lol, I think he would have pulled me over for having the stock exhaust on there too.. almost wish I had that on to see if he would

legal here is 50% on the two front widonws everything else doesnt have a limit. but ya hopefully i dont get pulled over for loudness cops got nothing better to do

oh wow that sucks, at least here it 30% here in the front only but I have heard some cops saying that the rear is a "passenger" door too, but its not suppose to be illegal, but whatever, and ya I am pretty confident that that is the only incident that I will be pulled over for being too loud just because that was just really ridiculous

got the bolt out of the turbo, got the intake mani on and all coolant lines hooked up. Now to figure out where the vac line from the egr goes and all the other hoses.

I have...a car cover to keep it dry? Ahhhhh not having mine on the road sucks the big one. On a side note with the turbo being rebuilt I am reaching out to a shop to see if they can upgrade the turbo at all. Don'd have the funds for a new one, and this shop has dealt with putting bigger wheels in turbo's before so if its not that much I figure it would be a nice alternative until I can save the cash for a GT28RS.

Not really performance oriented, but also looking to get rid of the subwoofer for something a little better. Dont need a bass pounding machine but something with a little more kick would be nice. Was able to snag up a set of brand new00 Alpine 10" Type-R's for cheap so I will use 1 for the MSP. Gonna see if a friend of mine can make a nice box to fit in the side corners of the trunk.

Started it up and got a big puff of smoke! Yippie yet another thin gis on its way out.. lol yet I can't reproduct the big puff fo smoke on start up even after the car has been sitting for several hours

Just had this issue occur on my MSP last weekend. Turns out my oil was about a quart below full because of my slow leaking turbo.

does anyone know where the vaccum hose goes from the egr?

Oh does anybody know the thread pattern for the MSP shifter? Is it 10 x 1.25? I'm looking at a Blox shift knob and want to make sure it fits.

vaccum block goes on the left side closer to the intake mani correct?

ya, for the BB, just run your fingers hard against the line until you feel it, I can't imagine someone not being able to find it easily..

but ya my oil by the time it is ready for the oil change is down to a little more than a quart, it's pretty crazy but I have no oil leaks, the turbo looks fine, and it doesn't smoke what so ever, I just assume that the car burns oil, and maybe a little gets caught in the oil catch can, but it is never more than 2 quarts left by the time for a change

ah ha, I got ya buddy. I was nervous about cutting into the booster hose. I was worried about losing pedal pressure. Yes, I know a million people have done it. I'm just very cautious when it comes to brakes. I just used the other ports on the IM to pull vacuum on the block.
