What have you done to your MSP today?

Yea... no. Though Honda did try to push it close to that with their 40k S2000 CR edition.

The s2k CR is worth every penny of its $30k some odd price tag.
I got the chance to road course one with a friend, and was blown away.
The s2k is an amazing car. When racing it, it whispers softly in your ear "If you make a mistake, I will kill you, and you will like it".
They're truly a drivers car.

wow. well they are still almost 30k here for a 07. not my cup of tea personally. but i like useful cars with big motors.

eh. im not enough of a car person to really notice or care for the most part. msp has enough balls to get me in tons of trouble since cops hang out at almost every damn corner here. I own it more for it being different than anything else, and its big enough to be a useful family car for the most part. If i knew what i know now about these cars i would have kept my p5 and just put a little money into it.

still haven't gone to the track with the msp. probably good cause i don't have very much disposable income with wife and child ect.
my next car will be something more civilized and boring im sure. prob an eco box.

Lol I'm sorry but I used to work for a Honda dealer and I've driven a decent amount of s2k's including 1 or 2 CR's. Really wasn't impressed enough to want one, and not nearly enough to spend over 30k for one. People argue that it is the highest HP stock 4 cylinder motor ever made and that apparently makes it amazing. Though to make that power you have to wind it out to the 9k rpm redline... I would much rather throw more money at my protege since it is very capable of handling as well as the s2k and can still be driven year round.

picked this stuff up from my brother for my build/rebuild....

Thanks man I just got this car beg. of march and the prev. owner did not do any mods exept for HIDs

I first took out the heat shield and started sanding it with 1000 grit wet sand paper then went over it all with 1500 and last with 2000 grit first with water then with Mothers polish. took hrs

is your whole valve cover as sexy? seem to remember it was textured somewhat. looks damn good though. damn good. might do that to my heat shield

yea that mothers mag and wheel polish is the s***, just but the powerball attachment for a drill...wet sand it with some 1000 then 2000 grit, and hit it with the power ball, it'll come out like a ******* mirror.
I repolished my brothers injen intake pipes, man...huge difference

and to figuejos, i would take a rag and hand polish a little more around the letters on the heat shield and in the tight areas on the lines. Looks good so far though

Hit fuel cut today on the way to work when its 67 degrees out... fun fun more i get this car up and running right the more i hate the factory tune

Minutes. Milwaukee buffer, Schlegel pads, compound & wax.
No sandpaper at all. And $1.97 TurtleWax Chrome polish works great on Injens and Hard Pipes by hand.
