What have you done to your MSP today?

Its not dependant on engine temps.. does it in the morning if the car is cold or warm doesnt matter on car temps.. only temps outside.... its so bad that it at times make the seat bets lock and try to give you whiplash even at 6psi at moderate throttle... not even trying to dog it out.

When its 40* or less I get it too first thing in the morning. Once it warms up its smooth sailing.

ok... so... motherfucker.

No, no problems again yet... well... sorta...

Got my MSP up and running. A weak battery was sending some low voltage to the ECM. Replaced the battery and the cars running great.
Installed the bumper brackets and cleaned up all the leftover double stick tape from the missing front lip.
Cleaned up the half ass monkey job intercooler piping, and detailed the engine bay.

Then, I went and drove the little MSP.
Came out of my shop, then took a right. I work in a warehouse district with a lot of backroads.
Coming down a long stretch in 2 second gear, so I'm feeling froggy and decide to jump. *BRRRRRRRAAAAAAAAAAAAP PSSSH*
Shift to 3rd gear *BRRRRRAAAAAAAAP PSSSH*
:)
Get back to my shop, check everything over. Alls good.

A successful test drive with the Speed. THAT felt good.

But then...

Well...

Nothing bad happened. The cars running good, looking good (sans-exhaust leak from cracked manifold).

Now the bad part...
I've had a couple nice offers on the car, but now, I'm really on the fence about selling it. I've been looking at S2000's, and with the weather being so nice, a roadster would be awesome sauce.
But dammit... this MSP is so fun when its behaving.

Blah.

I traded it... its official.

Ewwwww.

I was a GM technician for a while, and I can honestly say you have made a mistake.

A 400hp, comfortable, kick ass exhaust note, LS powered mistake.

:D

Enjoy it, its a Vette' with a backseat.

Those are nice, but coming from a GM parts guy; good luck getting parts for a Pontiac. Yes, the drivetrain is common with several other cars, but interior trim and body parts are not going to be avail in 3 yrs.

congrats wagon.

Got the lighter alt pulley on and the alt back on the motor, got the new underdrive pulley only only to have to take it back off to do the timing belt this weekend.

Yeah... this is one of my better mistakes I think.

Um... don't break the interior trim pieces. and if you need exterior pieces... well... thats the body shops problem.

I think the new GTO is pretty badass looking. Nice choice.
Thanks!
congrats wagon.
And thank you.

The MSP will be missed. But... well, not that much! LOL

I personally wouldn't get the S2000, there slower than a well running msp, well with the mods, and once you have the msp running well its a tonnn of fun, I'd just hold out for a little while, the msp handles like crazy too, it's great

and ya wagon, congrats, I personally am not a new GTO fan, old one was great, but new one just looks like an old lady car, kinda, at least with the long body, but ya congrats, at least no more msp problems haha, and a ton of hp

nice ride, though i would have gone for a g8 instead. i just like having 4 doors.

Stock s2k's run 13.9's with a good driver.
And they don't explode rods, shatter diffs, blow headgaskets, crack gears... under a miniscule 8psi.

We built an 07 ap2 and made 380whp on 10psi with stock bottom end. That setups been running without a hitch for a year now.
