What have you done to your MSP today?

Eibach camber bolts (F&R) will arrive today. I will install them at my buiddies shop today, and then bring it to the alignment shop tomorrow. Going for -2.5 degrees of negative camber in front, -1 degrees in the rear. Also going to re-drill the mudflaps (they scraped on the 15's in auto-x mode), and re-install them today.

man, you hand polished all of the a/c lines too huh, I semi-polished my valve cover a year ago or so, couldn't get into the cracks and I didn't feel like continuing to polish it so it would shine like I had on the heat-shield, but I might touch it up a little bit now, and ya Valk, it does kind of have some texture to it, it's a lot harder to polish that than the heat-shield, and those a/c lines are a b****, I used a polishing wheel thing on a drill but it kept catching on the lines and stuff, but might go over and hand polish them a little bit before OCC meet, I also need to find out where I put my SS bolts for the heat shield, I took it off at some point and couldn't find the bolts for it again, so I had to put the rusty ass ones back in there, it sucks

Minutes. Milwaukee buffer, Schlegel pads, compound & wax.
No sandpaper at all. And $1.97 TurtleWax Chrome polish works great on Injens and Hard Pipes by hand.

Anyone used chromed bolts with the polished heatshield? That would flow better than the OEM bolts unless you can polish those up really well..

ya, I unfortunatly had the SS bolts in there and one broke off in there when I was trying to get the heat shield off, and I couldn't drill it out, so I'm just gonna wait till I get a new exhaust mani to really care about that, and by then I won't need to heat shield lol

So jealous of the grip that measurement will get you...

What size 15"s you running? I need to get an autox setup.

Going to be keeping the MSP a while. Been driving it the last few days, and its not broken down *knock on wood*, and actually been a little fun.

Bah too much work. Id just **** it up trying to contort the thibg back onto the manifold. Might got for sone high temp enamel instead. Match my hardpipes wheb i paint em.

Lol I'm sorry but I used to work for a Honda dealer and I've driven a decent amount of s2k's including 1 or 2 CR's. Really wasn't impressed enough to want one, and not nearly enough to spend over 30k for one. People argue that it is the highest HP stock 4 cylinder motor ever made and that apparently makes it amazing. Though to make that power you have to wind it out to the 9k rpm redline... I would much rather throw more money at my protege since it is very capable of handling as well as the s2k and can still be driven year round.

Unless you've taken a 60* right at 105mph in an S2k... you've never truly "driven" one...

ya I think the H4 is the fog light, but either way im not sure right now, and you can just look this stuff up on autozone.com.. pretty easy
