alright. picked up some wheels/tires yesterday for $400 cdn that included a set of bfg gforce 205/40ZR17 tires with 70% or more left. tread and sidewall look quite new.
wheels are some 8 spoke eagle alloys in 17x7.5+?? that i thought i might run as temp summers since the weather is getting better, but they require "Tuner" lugs and i cant be bothered to buy those for a set of wheels i dont really give a s*** about.
so went to work yesterday/today and started painting my Racing harts since i pretty much finished the repair work a few weeks ago..
inside of wheel painted white. you dont really see it that much after installed so i just finished it with a few good coats of paint and didnt worry about fixing any chew marks from the weights ect.
how you see the inside of the wheel now.
taped that all off and started working than the face.
Filler primer over the repaired rash to even it out. worked quite well i must say.
and after all that masking, sanding, primer, sanding business, got to put down white on the faces.
Products used;
using the gloss enamel as a base because its very cheap, finishes hard when used with the enamel hardener, sprays beautifully and when used on the inside of my wheels, covers them up beautifully and doesn't need a clear.
faces will get a dose of autoaircolors 4301 pearlized white.
