What have you done to your MSP today?

I get thst high pitch sound when i pin it in lower gears. I hink its turbo related. If i cruise in 5th at full boost i dont get it. Only at high rpm in 2nd and 3rd.
And i think its turbo related because i can get it to 6k ay light throttle and not get it. Only with open throttle.

today. I boosted it to 14 psi. woops. gotta start tuning the JoeP down a bit! lol

Felt amazing to pull like that in 2nd gear though... at least until I hit the "peak" button on the boost gauge and almost s*** my pants.

I think you're speaking of a different sound.

+1 lol but thats where i want it to peak at

Its not spool. The spool turns into a very high pitch squeel. Might be different but same conditions.

ya the sound from the spool is different than gasket leaking, its all very similar unless you have heard each one yourself in which case you can tell the differences between them relatively easily usually...

but valk, just for kicks, since it usually/only happens at such high rpm/boost/wot ect.. I would take your intake pipe off and feel for any shaft play just to make sure it's nothing like that, then I would check your exhaust mani bolts and go from there (and i guess you could check IM bolts too while your at it, there all pretty easy checks)

an eventful day today. got robbed at the gym, then the msp wouldn't start. yay!!! seemed to be an issie with the battery terminals, it started right up after some fiddling with them. good times

There is a small amount of wiggle on the turbo. And i do
mean small.
