What have you done to your MSP today?

Hoping I can get my car all fixed up for the Import Wars show this spring. So far I still have to:

Oh and I should probably clean the engine bay up a little once I'm done. Guess I better get started.

*ahem*

Yeah, I got my list too. Maybe we can get a decent Mazda turnout this year...

weapon R hard pipe kit, Prosport boost gauge, Prosport air/fuel, apexi turbo timer! was a great install... then my fricken charge pipe blew off.

Make sure those couplers are on tight lol. Always a good idea to keep tools in the trunk if you drive an MSP.

edit: what model boost gauge? I just got the electronic with peak/warn. Can't wait to install it!

I picked one up on todaysDOD.com, but couldn't get it to communicate... for now superstock map is perfectly fine.

That's why I'm saying to get the Belkin. Apparently I'm told most other brands for these cables are complete s*** and the drivers don't work whether on XP or whatever. I can vouch for that.

Updated my ssafc. Still car isnt running good. Im getting 10s afr at wot and its hesitating bad. Happens when im trying to pass someone on the freeway and im going 80mph. Car just doesnt want to pick up. Replaced the plugs today too. I cant think of any issue causing this.

Mine seems to have improved a little bit, but most of the time I still get 10 flat. I could go out and tune it right now if I wanted since I actually have a working cable now, but I will wait till my friend fools with it a bit so I can learn the right method, rather than me guessing the right cells to change lol.

Earlier today I took the car for a spin while my little brother held the computer so I could test the real time feature. All I was able to log was the RPM and Pressure since I didn't hook up the auxilary wires, but atleast I know how it works. But I can't figure out if / how I can save the log file to a flash drive or something? I can't find it anywhere?

Noooooooo don't do it man! Yea the winter sucks, but it can be fixed with a good tune if everything else (maintenance items) are still good. If I ever get a chance to have my car looked at for EGR, plugs, coil packs and so on I will let you know what I find so you can try it too.

Not sure if this is already stickied somewhere but I thought I would share some helpful information I had printed at my local dealer. The (almost) complete turbo setup parts listing for the MSP. For some reason I'm missing the last two parts that are shown in the diagram (83 and 84), but hopefully it still helps.

Its just tuning man, don't give up yet. I have no experience with whatever system your using but don't walk away yet, you can do it.

I agree. I am just wondering if you have reloaded the stock super map? that might help and my car was running like crap once and it ended up being a loose wire on the AFC.

hopefully did not **** up the rear passenger wheel. I was with some friends and hit a pothole, didnt notice any problems, then when i came back to car after it was parked for awhile i saw tire was flat, then when i tried to put spare on i could not because wheel would not come off the lugs (yes i took the lug nuts off and the car was jacked up with the tire in the air). So i had to limp to a gas station and fill tire, as soon as it was full i hear air rushing out, i blew the bead on the inside of the wheel closest to the car, i went until it went flat again and filled tire again, then limped it back to the dorm. Im gonna have to fill it and go to the closest pep boys to get a new tire now cause i doubt it can be salvaged, hopefully it did not mess up my wheel. Wish me luck

^I could not do anything else, called the insurance company 24 hour emergency service and best they could do was tow it somewhere but i didnt know the area so i didnt know where they could take it to. they said they could not fill the tire with air or change tire for me (like if they had a rubber mallet)
