What have you done to your MSP today?

^ Did you try kicking the tire on one side to try and break it loose? I have had to do that many times to get wheels off. Before anyone goes nuts the tire is barely off the ground when i do this.

+1 I assume you meant it would not come off the wheel studs? That is very common when doing tire rotations and I see technicians using rubber mallots or kicking tires to get them off all the time lol. I'm sure it's just the weather.

Got a look at the wheel in the daylight and knock on wood it looks fine. I dont see any dips or bends or bulges in the metal so im taking that as a good sign. having the car towed to pep boys so i dont drive on the wheel more than i have to

Good idea having it towed. Having it towed to pep boys...not so much.

so next weekend i will be baking my headlights to paint the inside, painting my emblems, and having a set of cf eyelids and my cf grill painted body color. i will get pics when its all done

and thanks for the info and vid on the seafoam! i feel more comfiden about doing it now. and i planned on changing the oil after the seafoam

also when changing your tranny fluid, where do you guys refill it? my buddy has a zx2(same series tranny) and he refills his through the vss hole, but since we dont have vss that wont work. and is there a howto? im sure its not hard just curious on the refill thing

Well I'm a dumbass. Was trying to remember where I read the kind of rattle can paint to use on an A pillar pod. It's in the first post of this thread LOL.

Ill try messing with the tune a bit today.

mgerst1 - I agree with these guys. If the wheel is not coming off get the rubber mallet and hit the wheel on the corners a couple of times. Itll come off. Sounds like a flat tire. U cant crack that wheel unless u were going 70mphs and hit a dig size pothole with fat albert in the passenger seat. I wouldnt be to worried.

not unless they were el cheapo wheel... they will crack and bend. However I agree without even then it will still take a huge effort to do so.. I'm not sure about runnign rubber band tires but thats another story.

Yea the road that leads in to my neighborhood has always been a huge minefield of potholes. Now with the cold weather and snow seeping into the bad filler that they continue to use on it, the road is 10 times worse and I swear I'm going to break something. Can I sue Penndot if something happens?

^^Interesting you say that. Ive heard of people bending/cracking wheels and having the city pay for replacements due to bad roads. So yea u could sue.

That's good to know. I understand it's rather impossible to take care of every pothole, but this road is seriously ****** and I've seen them "fixing" it on several occasions over the few years that I've lived there.

What's yellow, 5-tons and sleeps 6?

PENNDOT truck. Surprised you aren't used to the bad roads yet... MD's are soooooo very nice!

Oh trust me, it is the main reason I do not bother to drop my car. I remember going to Ohio with my family once to see some old friends. Their house was bad ass but what I really couldn't get my mind off of was their roads, namely the highways. They were AMAZINGLY smooth and the speed MINIMUM was about 55-60 IIRC. I didn't get to drive our car, but I have a dream... and it speaks of smooth roads where potholes are looked upon as lepers.

Just changed my oil and got me some new wiper blades. Mobil 1 full synth oil change and filter, and Bosch Icon wiper blades. I'll be giving her a bath next week when the weather stays warm. I have a 70 dollar gift certificate to a local place that hand washes the cars. That should get her nice and sparkly.

it is true, even county's have to pay, if you blow a tire or crack a wheel, take pic of pothole and send that with pic of damage to tire and/or wheel to the city or county with the bill and they usually pay it

I was doing all i could to get it off, but being at school i did not have access to the tools i have at home. Pepboys got it off with a few whacks of a rubber mallett.

They were good wheels with a built in rim guard which is what probably saved my wheel. I had to drive 12 miles on the tire cause i could not put the spare on

The good news is no damage to the wheel at all, tire had a huge gash in it on the side closest to the car. when i saw it i knew why it took me driving to gas station to gas station to reinflate to make it home. Got two new tires put on as close to what i had as possible, put them up front and had them give me back the other tire that was not damaged. I plan on getting another used racing hart and using it as my spare and getting rid of the spacesaver

You're gonna put a full size spare in the trunk? Lol nice.
