What have you done to your MSP today?

looks like all I'll be doing is plowing snow with it in a couple hours here..

other than that I've been daydreaming about putting in the SSAFC. lol

I've been fooling around with my AFC and daydreaming about it actually working properly. But as you said, the snow is not helping me.

and i just ordered a TWM ss. im pretty excited. it will come with new bushings and a weighted shift knob(not for me)

Wow. MSP rode like s*** today. My wideband guage was reading 10s at WOT. I couldnt pass 80mph and got a s*** load of hesitation. Im not sure if its my tune or wga is going. I was really thinking i was going to blow the engine today. Shitt. Ill do an oil change this weekend, check the plugs and check the tune. Car is starting to frustrate me.

Pretty much all the stuff I was thinking. I am fairly confident my plugs are toast and I think I will change them out regardless, but it would probably be a waste for me to do so before getting a decent tune, or else I could just fry the new ones as well. About the WGA...are there any signs to know it is going bad other than overboosting?

Disconnect the line going to it and blow through that line into the WGA, if it blows freely then the diaphram is shot. No air should be able to pass through when you blow through the line.

Alright will do...if the weather ever clears up. So lets say I do have to replace it, I still don't know what kind to replace it with. I've heard mixed reviews of the ATP as well as the Forge. I would prefer to keep the boost at factory levels.

I've had the ATP for over or close to 3 years without so much as a hiccup of a problem from it. I have zero experience with the Forge though, so I can not comment negative or positive. You will see a small bump in psi from the ATP, some that I have helped install have seen a 1 psi bump and others as well as myself had about a 2 psi bump. I run a higher set-up intentionally though so it did not bother me. ATP is a good company to work with, I've dealt with them on many occasions. Hope that helps some. Gimme a shout if you need advice when changing the WGA out if you need.

i think mine was a direct replacment. its still treating me pretty good. but who knows for how long. and its a blast to change. especially if u do it with the turbo in the car ;)

yeah, when I did mine, I did it in the car, but I did unblot the mani from the head and that gave me much more room to work. Since then and now however I've found it to be faster and easier to just remove the mani/turbo/s-pipe from the car.

idk why you're blaming the AFC.. my bet is the problem is much simpler than that.

Well I'm not blaming the AFC if I thought the wires were not connected properly by the tech that installed it. I'm not trying to insult his intelligence, but all I'm saying is maybe he made a mistake. But apparently he didn't, so now I've been reading about the specific settings, hoping I just selected the wrong one.
