What have you done to your MS3 today?

Installed JBR throttle body gasket and coolant bypass kit. Hoping to see some better BATs. its currently 79* in Houston and I turned the car on to see 83-85* at idle. Is this good or just normal? Would i see more during driving conditions? I reved the car a few times and got 86* tops

You should be able to pick up a mint set for under $500. You know they are different offset from our, right?

No, but i know i like them better than stock (looks-wise). I would have crossed that road eventually i guess....thanks for the heads up

It doesnt matter now anyway...i saw a craigslist ad that was parting out 2 ms3's and one ms6, but i never got a reply. Probably for the better since im getting closer and more eager to get a new car

On a side note, and yet still somewhat related....i got a new tool today to help me expand my diagnostic abilities. Had a coupon for an inspection camera (the kind where the camera is at the end of a flex-hose attached to a hand held monitor). Bad news is it was a harbor freight item, good news is i still came under price even after adding a 2 year replacement...which im sure i will use since it is harbor freight

At least now i can see if there is any loose change under my seat instead of contorting my body the whole time just to come up empty-handed

Installed egr delete kit. As I opened my hood to my surprise, my PMM took a s*** on me and there was brown oil everywhere! Also a nipple was broken on the boost solenoid. Not a good day, time for a grimmspeed ebcs and jbr pmm

some days are worse than others.
I grabbed a grimmspeed solenoid valve awhile back. they are just a mac valve but industrial grade. good investment.
i have not put my s*** back together yet or decided where to mount it even.
Battery box maybe. I also got packages of tubing to replumb pressure and vac lines. all snazzy blue and then red.
Whats a pmm ?
Mica i have had those days too. One day i opened the hood and black soot was all over the firewall.
Cracked intercooler weldment.

Another day i noticed i noticed my downpipe was cracked. pisser for sure

PMM passenger motor mount

oh. the brown oil referenced threw me off.
I have a topspeed pmm. seems to do its job. and one of the rear mounts just a tad softer than solid. I need get in and do the drivers side before i put more parts back on.

Any opinions out there about the cleanest Drivers side mount. I bought one used and it was a garage designed shameful piece. Popular though.
I still have it in garage but i want nicely engineered product.
Guys ?

I like the trans mounts that replace the stock tee pee. There is one out there that uses the stock tee pee and is just a top plate so your transmission is still held up by the threads on one bolt. There are a couple designs that replace the tee pee and put a couple cylindrical bushings in there so your trans is supported by the shank of the bolt.

Here's the stock one and tee pee:

Here's the replacement top plate version:

Here's the other style replacement:

I have the last kind and no problems for about 50k miles. I'm not sure if you can even get these anymore though FWIW.

i need to get this sorted out soon. before i put a battery box, the ecu and cai and tip back together.
Looking for a pretty stiff durometer unit that can take abuse. The medevil one you have might work for me, not sure.
Thanks for the help and good pics brother!
