What have you done to your MS3 today?

got rid of my old cx-racing core and replaced it with Treadstone TR8L core :)

Speaking of CX Racing, did anyone notice their new spokesperson?

What tires did you go with?

got another set of Hankook ventus v12 evo k110 but in 225/50/17 this time, to fit the new 17x7.5 wheels.
my last set made it +30k miles, and rode pretty quietly. Its not a track car, so I can deal with the softer sidewalls of the Hankooks

I liked the V12s I had. They only lasted me about 30k miles as well. I autocrossed a handful of times with two drivers too, they didn't appreciate that. Particularly the fronts.

Yea, my rears were still good, but when I went to rotate them I saw the fronts were splitting on the inside as if the tread layer was peeling off. No bueno. But at the price point I don't know of much else that can grip that well and still be comfortable. I feel like James May, always complaining about ride comfort.

You seem to have made a mistake... it's has 'Hankook' where it should say 'Hoosier'. You should have a talk with your tire guy.

Put gas in it Tuesday night. First time in 17 days :D. Today, drove it to work and drove it home.

Sounds like a good streak. I fill up every 280 miles, which, if I drive nothing but my car, is about every 6 days

Come summer I will be on the bike as often as possible, and perhaps I will whip out the bicycle as well

BUI.....bicycling under the influence. And beer is totally not cheaper than gas! 12oz bottle of miller in a 6pk is about $1 or so.....and there are 128oz in a gallon so thats like $10/gal

And since I would polish off a 6pack to get to work 8 miles away thats like 4mpg!

Did that logic go the way you planned....no it didn't

picture hosting

Idk why that damn hosting site made the pic that way
