What have you done to your MS3 today?

installed Work Racing red lug nuts and got fresh contact patches all the way around via Continental ExtremeContact DW's 225/45/18. lug nuts looked to be a match on the website image but turned out to be darker than i hoped so they don't quite match the red rally armor logos but oh well(shrug)

installed a Cobb XLE BPV. took about 20 minutes and fits perfectly with the stock fittings, easily clears the tmic cover. power is much smoother and sounds great!

be sure to post on how you like those tires, ive been thinking about them

The DW's are 340. I ordered a set of DWS's for my NA... waiting at my installers as I write this. (Tuesday is the day.) The tire wear rating for them is 540. I hope to get a longer life out of them than anything else I've run on this car so far.
OE BadYears 205/50-17- 19,600 miles. Wear rating 240.
Falken Ziex 512's, 215/50-17. - 19,900. Wear rating 320.
Kumho Ecsta ASX, 225/45-17 - 18,500. Wear rating 340.

Increasing wear rating w/every set, but decreasing wear in reality. 'Disappointing tire wear.

Yea the DWS's are what my dad is going to get for his ms6..

but living in FL i dont need all seasons so when i get my car im just going to get some nice wheels with summers.

Living in Texas I don't usually either, but we put a set of DWS's on my wife's car (Vibe base) after waiting a month for them to become available and we really like them!!
Plus I want some better tire wear out of this car than <20k miles/set. I am hoping their softer ride (Continentals) will be a good fit with the H&R's and Koni Yellows.

we had a set of continentals on our protege. very good tires. dont remember exactly what model it was but the where still good.

^^how much and whats the treadwear number?

yea like bbrich said they're 340 treadwear. they were about $155/tire but compared to the stock bridgestones with a treadwear rating of 140 and a price tag upwards of $260/tire i couldn't be happier. managed to squeeze 25k miles out of the RE050A's so the DW's should last at least that long. i'm shooting for 30k but i hear these wear relativeley quick so should be interesting

Took the car to the local 1/8th mile track.....best I could get was 9.552.
Mods: Cobb intake and turbo inlet pipe, greedy bov, coilovers, and Dunlop direzza star specs on rpf1s

Had a blast even though it was hot and I was a noob

I think they look fine, GREAT in fact!! Nice upgrade.

Rebuilt my Forge BPV today with kit from Forge. Replaces piston and three o-rings and comes with lube. Will go out later and see how it does. I'm running the blue spring with 1 shim.

got back from a 180 mile round trip to the beach. computer said 28mpg there (had AC on), 30mpg (no AC) on the way back. so im guessing more like 26 there and 28 back maybe. im happy seeing how my usual commuting gives me like 23 or 24, once again according to the computer

let me tell you how much it sucked having a fast little car being passed by unworthy vehicles doing 15-20 over, just so i could see how good my gas mileage could be
