What have you done to your MS3 today?

I wouldn't use brake cleaner any place where it may be burned. Phosgene gas is a b****.

I'm scared shitless of brake cleaner after reading this article:

http://www.brewracingframes.com/id75.htm

I don't think the brake cleaner will hurt anything internally, but if you don't get it all out of there, you might possibly be creating phosgene gas out of your tailpipe. I don't know how much heat it takes to break down brake cleaner though, but better safe than sorry.

I would still use brake cleaner on the brakes, but I make sure it's completely dry before doing anything else.

The reason I used the Seafoam cleaner (not the same stuff you put IN the motor) is that it evaporates slower than carb cleaner. Carb cleaner is also a stronger solvent than brake cleaner.

Well I finally got to finish doing the transmission mount do to the fact that I had tO order the aluminum bracket that was fudged up but anyways overall the car runs great a little bit more sound inside from the engine bit not yo biggy but she feels alot better driving wise

Took the car to the dealer for an oil change and wiper motor recall yesterday. Before I went i removed the hypertech tune. The car is definetly not as enjoyable without it. So after it was done i pulled it into a parking spot there and retuned it, then rolled out and munched on a sugar cookie they left me.

Topped up the battery and set it on the trickle overnight. The Summer heat evaped quite a bit of the water out. I was surprised by how dirty the electrolyte looked in the cells that get direct air from the vent.

Also repaired a radiator hose that I think I must have displaced when I was replacing the BPV recirculation hose. The fan wore through it and caused a leak. I used the self fusing silicone tape and let it sit overnight while the battery charged up. That stuff is amazing and everyone should have a roll of it in their car and or their toolbox. It's sold under many names, but you can usually pick up a roll at any auto parts store.

Autocrossed the s*** out of the car and had some friends take some professional shots. Will post up when they arrice

Came in 4th in class, behing a 2 rotor gt35r turbo rx7 that was fully track prepped and an evo 9 along the same lines as the rx7 that had 2 drivers. Pretty happy for the last autox of the season

second or third run on a january morning, slick as snot. by noon, had some decent times
