What have you done to your MS3 today?

some people like going some people like diy...there are pros and cons to both...as many things in life are...

This actually happened a few days ago but I have to share it. Went to a friends house and when leaving the neighborhood the only way out of his street was to go into a driveway and turn around cause of all the other parked cars. I knew my noes was low after putting on my coil overs and scraping it going in and out of my trailer. I knew I would scrape so I went up at the best angle possible and it barely scraped. Then on the way back down did the same thing except it scraped really hard. I thought it was just the plastic air dam which I had hit before. Got home that night and noticed that it had actually broken a clip and popped out a screw so the top of the right front bumper behind where the light is sticks out a little. I hate tiny scratches and paint chips so this kind of thing is agonizing.

Maybe its a sign for me to get one of those cool aftermarket bumpers

hehe i like when it's backfiring with those little puffs of smoke, if yours only has 7k i wonder how mine would be with 18k lol

so i guess you ran it right into a vaccuum hose somewhere? im still not sure about doing this with seafoam, although i do like to put a bottle in my tank every few thousand miles or so

No. 1/3 in Brake booster, 1/3 in tank, 1/3 in oil.

Oh, and I changed my oil today.

I didn't do anything to my MS3 today, but I ordered a TB spacer and a prosport electronic boost gauge from PG Garage. Just waiting on it to come in the mail.

Found my cracked fog lamp finally broke open. Made a call to mazda and found the price to be 287 before labor! I'm going to take it in next wed and have that done along with getting my bumper fixed, and touching up a few paint chips and dings. Sounds like my next mod will have to wait a while :(

I have also been hearing a few noises from the car. First one is a squeek over uneven surfaces so I think the heim joints on my endlinks need to be dealt with. The other is the infamous metalic click when you start to move which I have almost certain is the brakes. The pad moves around after being worn down so much and causes this click. I am assuming this because my family had the same problem with our Cobra.

Sad to say that I have this too.... AND an annoying clunk when from the left rear on some larger bumps

Finally did my first power mods today and installed a PG SRI, PG TIP and Forge BPV (all black). Surprisingly it only took me 1.5 hrs and was easier than I thought it would be. Just take out the old stuff and stick in the new.

First impressions is that the BPV/SRI are loud when on the throttle, but if I just drive easy it's as quiet as stock. Still trying to figure out if I like the ping. I couldn't really notice any power gains, however I only drove 7 miles and never really opened it up. I'm hoping the increased power will be noticeable.
