What have you done to your Mazda6 today?

Had CEL yesterday driving into work. Was cold, 34 degrees. Got it checked today and indicated P0441 code. After the check the light went off. Strange. Drove car with no problems 590 miles down to Indy. even getting 27 mpg on the way. A little too much boost on the way back.

First thing I do with a EVAP code is check the gas cap and the gasket.



As for my 6, I cleaned my Mazdaspeed CAI filter, dirty as hell after 10k, my car gives off a load grumble from the intake and the whine of a supercharger from the TB spacer lol!

heh, that "ching" sound would drive me nuts after a while... i like my classic PSssssHHHhhh TS bpv.

id consider buying it for fun if i found it super cheap though.
but meanwhile, money's going to other things... since i am not tracking again till 2011... started saving again.
just dropped a small deposit on a powdercoating group buy for my wheels. :)
 
still CEL? hope it aint something bad like a fuel feed line leaking...

oye. so i got new sounds! hard right turns, almost sounds like fender rubbing i had before i got em rolled...
its new, didnt have since rolled fenders... so idk what it is, will have to check soon. so many little things to adjust!

suspension click, rear lip smacking exhaust, rear sub grill rattle, exhaust hangers stretched causing exhaust clamps to slam into EVERYTHING, new electrical whine when i cold start on a really cold morning... and tested out the driveway of the place im moving into... bad news is i cant get into it without major scraping... idk what im gonna do.
 
Haven't posted on here in a while, but as of now I have changed my spark plugs to denso ones gapped at .28, added the cobb ap with the stage 1 sf 93, and installed a 3" dual GHL exhaust. The car feels amazing now.

As for looks I changed the grille to a nextmod grille, flat black for now, (thinking about wrapping it with Dynoc 3m Carbon fiber film along with my roof), and I added carbon fiber mirror covers like the ones quick6 has.

Next week hopefully I have time to install my lowering springs, new rotors, and turbo inlet pipe. Then I should calm down for a while I've been buying too many parts lol.

i feel ya tho, im in the break phase atm, restarting in 2011.

btw, i need new plugs asap how are the densos? 1 step colder or no...
wuts the part #/model of em?

They feel incredible, I had a problem with the stock ones since the dealer did the VVT tsb and messed up the valve cover gasket, they put a new one in after they messed it up but there was still some oil on one of the plugs so I went with these instead of taking it back to them, now it really feels like a different car.

I will try and take some pics during the weekend when I pick up the car from my job(it stays there during the week.)

I forgot to mention I also have the ventpod coming in I cant wait for that to get here I have a prosport boost gauge that I bought like a week after I bought the car and never installed it because I couldnt find a good pod to put it in.

Sometime in the near future I will like to upgrade the rear motor mount, I have a rear diff mount waiting to be installed also, dont know when that will happen though.

Sorry for the long post, I also just noticed I've been on the forum a year and a month, time is flying.

aye, stock fomoco plugs here too, no oil on em, but im betting they are contributing to my KR.
good ur getting boost gauge, boosted cars need sometype of monitoring. DH has served well, but i needa get oil temp soon when i track again.

rmm and rear diff mounts i need too. rear diff stories scare me lol.
