What have you done to your Mazda6 today?

Really? are you sure you installed them properly, i have a front lip on mine and it scrapes but its gotta be a pretty steep incline coming from a flat road to do it, and when i measured mine out, the drop was 1.46 inches. Make sure you get the car realigned too, so you don't have excessive tire wear.

Yea they are.. It rides real good but i live in the Boonies my driveway has maybe a 20-30 degree incline at the base of it maybe more than that. Im able to not scrap now I just angle it out and its ok. My tires are about shot anyway excuse to Buy rims and tires :) well they are at about a 4 on the tire wear scale.. I just dont like the look of the car now as much. I mean it looks good dont get me wrong and as stated I will post some pics I have just been working alot and when I get home its night time. But im gonna check it at my friends Alignment shop if the toe is off bad I will go ahead and align it now just to be safe.

Taylor, that's great news, congratulations! I'm glad you found someone who seems like she'll take care of it too. Make sure when the sale goes through you give her a link to the forums and get her started on the right path. I hope you do still pop in from time to time, your car truly was inspirational, and it's the reason I have a WWP myself.

ZFZ, that speedline grill looks really good, how's the fitment?

Block, you made a double-pod! It looks awesome.

Looking really good, Ben. I agree with OJ: that dual vent pod is pretty slick.

Oh! And I finally remembered to respond: Yes, Dave. You will earn a 100k badge. I'm trying to think of a good way to make people know that it's kilometers, though. Maybe a maple leaf in the background.

Thanks man! I will let her know about the forums. Now if only I could inspire these corvette guys... :D

PS- I am trying to work out a deal with a guy on a trade of wheel/tire setups. Should make my car look very agressive.

Nice looking gauge setup Ben, i dunno when i had all mine going, at night it was too much light shinning back at my face, on top of a huge distraction with all of them working properly, so i took 3 of them away.

I couldn't commit to losing the vents for the A/C in the summer either.

Hopefully getting my car fixed finally on Friday.. After about 2 months of dealing with a dealership, I'm going to another one to get s*** done..

sent payment for my block8 pod, waiting on the dealership to call me back to book an appointment... other than that... just letting her sit in the driveway

also looking for something like these.. anyone have any experience?

Funny you linked that. I've been looking into those (or the power folding ones if I feel like being baller)...I just received my Audiolink from Speedline. I recommend these guys for fasssssssssssst shipping from Taiwan. :D

Thanks OJ,
i made them last year, the gauge sit in there for almost 6 months, now finally installed!
:)

grrr.... just found out gas prices are going up 4.5 cents/L tonight.... that'll put me at $1.155/L for regular (beater) and aprox. $1.23/L for premium in the speed :(

So how was everyone's weekend? Today i drove my boss to pick-up his car... even with the nasty dent still in the car, he couldnt stop commenting about it, "rides nice", "smooth drive!" "damn sounds mean!" "pulls real hard!" :) this is from a non-carguy tho, still blushed. haha
Well it's time to throw in my hat guys. It's been great. Thanks for all the help and support from everyone on the forum.

The girl and her family made the drive from Maryland this afternoon to see the car. They love it and already put the loan in for it. They are hopeully picking the car up next week.
FINALLY Taylor! lol, i know i havent been around... but hasnt it been months and months? congrats, i know it can get fustrating but you dun it! sad to see it go, but happy you get to move on. let her know she needs to get into modifying and get on this forum! lol GL & keep enjoying the vette!
Well, with your baby being sold, the fellow WWP Speed6 owners have to pick up the slack! lol

I only hope I can end up somewhere near where yours was, before the part out.

uh oh, already have plans to let her go eh? not running her into the ground... damn. well hopefully its long term. :P

Thanks man! Im trying to enjoy the vette. Today I got a check engine light. ugh... Lean bank 1 and 2. I cleared it. It came back. As soon as I get the money for the car the first thing I am buying it the high flow cats and 3" x-pipe. Then going on the dyno for a tune. I am trying to work a deal now with a guy on some new wheels. I hate having to constantly polish these bare aluminum wheels. These new wheels will look very aggressive and I have an idea on them to set the car off. I might remove the front lip and drop it even lower. But I am not sure yet. Its in the works. But I am definetly not done with the vette looks wise. I already know I am putting the corbeau a4 seats in it and a new stereo. then after that who knows. Possibly fixed headlights. I would love to do away with the side air ducts which look stuck on and out of place and go with the zo6 style air duct. But thats going to be a lot of money and work to get right.

But I will tell her about the forum. She has already asked about the fmic and AP so maybe she will get it for the car? If not she can ride back to my house and I could install the kit. I got some new oil this morning so I am changing the oil 1 last time. Its early but she wont have to worry about it for another 3k miles.

From what I gather, those won't fit any USDM Mazda6 or MS6 FYI.

is it that they wont fit? or the cars arent wired for them to work like a euro/jdm spec car might be?

from what i can gather they wont work on N/A built cars... but since the MS6 was built in japan they will work?

You guys dating to? Gah!(kiss) Just kidding, that's awesome she is already taking such interest in the car. Definitely good to hear. Anxious to see what you have for the wheels on the vette!

here, here!! lol. mebe she already was into cars, asking about the fmic and AP? that's kinda cool.
get on that!! (evil)

so the new wheels ur hoping to get black im guessing? i say stay at current height, dont lower until you do more pwr mods/tune. all that power TOO low means not as much fun if your roads are in bad shape. just imo.

Those "APPEAR" to be exactly what I have waiting to be installed. I test fitted them and they do fit. However you have to wire them to signal or parking light. They seem to fit well, but I didnt want to fully install them until I have the wires ready for them.

Post 7110 in this thread has a pic of mine. Looks like the same ones to me, but judge for yourself.
