What have you done to your Mazda6 today?

Changed my transmission fluid thinking it would solve the shifting issues. Its actually harder to shift now :( 60 bucks down the drain.

^Sexy.

Washed mine this afternoon. Change the positive post connection for my battery. Stock one wouldn't tighten up so I replaced it with a gold plated piece. Cleaned my engine bay. Completely cleaned the inside. Vacuum, cleaned and protected. As well as carpet cleaner on the floor and the front and rear seats. Inside is as fresh as brand new now :)

Tomorrow my plans are to change the tranny fluid with ford motorcraft transmission fluid. Here it takes care of a lot of shifting issues for speed3 guys.

Thanks man I hope my car looks as good as yours one day. One thing I will copy from you is the carbon firber mirror covers one day.

Pulled the Forge out and swapped the stocker back in. Cleaned the BPV and polished it up and put a fresh coat of grease inside it and packed it up to sell to a local guy. I will be replacing it with the SU/Turbosmart BPV later on this week.

Nice. Let us know how that works out. The forge is making me annoyed now. Constantly flutters under light throttle and boost when I ease off the gas.

I like the Forge, I still think its one of the best BPV's on the market, but the ping has worn its welcome out with me. The TS is a louder stock sound from what I heard in my friends MS3, he just doesn't like it and it's brand new. He ran it for a week or so, and with the new SRI I wanted a change in pace for now.

One thing about the Forge that I did notice, it does jump back, especially on part throttle, and it can make the car drive 'jerky'. It's not a bad thing when you get used to it, but it's not as smooth as stock. Benefits though, it does recover boost faster between shifts/decel than the stock BPV.

I took mine for a wash as well.

As for the Turbosmart BPV its been working pretty well me for the past couple of months.

Speaking of BPV's, I really love the Synapse (on my buddy's speed6 lol)

I saw one installed on a local MS6, but the install is a real PITA, and to me, it really isn't crucial enough to warrant the extra nonsense, especially if you want to take it in for service.

installed the corksport race pipe :D definately smoother and a bit louder. but i was so cold after installing that i didn't really pay that much attention to the sound, i just wanted to get home and warm up lol

Drove with the TS BPV on for about 40 miles tonight after I picked it up. Car runs like a ***** ape, fuel trims are fantastic, and the sound is nice. Think stock, but amplified. Very happy with the new BPV.

this is the turbosmart dual-port, correct? if so are you running full recirc or 50/50?

My oil temp and pressure gauges just arrived! As well as the spacer plate for the oil filter. Looks like I will have a busy afternoon/evening.

Replaced the battery... Stock one was weak and failed the load test... Got a new OEM one covered under warranty....

Oh and I replaced a faulty HID fog light bulb as well...With the LED city light replacement I did it looks hella sweet at night... Now I gotta decide if Im going to do HID high beams or not....
