What have you done to your Mazda6 today?

UNDER the IM!? hmm... and i cant quite tell what your grounding point is and which bolt you used for your to ground to the block...

when you do your review, mind showing us close-ups of each grounding point too?
If you click my CD site link in my sig, go to the engine bay section to see close-ups of my spots.

yeah the line from the battery to the Power steering pump 12mm bolt goes under the IM where my PCV OCC lines run.. ill be posting up close ups in the review..just checked out your setup, looks good but why are there 3 points being grounded off of the PS Pump bolt on yours?? i simplified it alittle with the way i ran mine and i hid most of it..

boosted- your seats seem to have a different (much nicer) leather than the rest of us, have you had them recovered? or is that a build difference between my canadian and your US model?

Canadian and US Models are the same. It is a North American model.

I'd say it's just how he has taken care of the leather and the picture itself might show the color as being more rich than it is.

ive always applied a leather cleaner on them since day 1.. and once i learned about Poorboy's Leather Stuff from josh (altspace) the seats have been cleaned every week with it..

his seats are solid leather, where as mine have perforated center sections

perhaps they're different trim levels? i thought they were the same

Gl with the sale boosted. Just a question but what about your child motivated you to sell your car? Its a 4 door family sedan after all. Only thing I can think of is a loud exhaust / rough ride which can both be fixed easily. I ride on stock springs and its a very soft / enjoyable ride.

Lots of people sell their sedans and buy SUV's or minivans. I don't see the reasoning. Space isn't a huge deal. Maybe 5+ years down the road but not during the early years. By then its time for another car. Not criticizing at all. Just curious.

I swapped out my busted TIP for the new one that came today, and put my badgeless grill on. Also, I had to wait for UPS guy, so I spent 2 hours amoraling the entire interior :). Only snapped a couple quick pics because it was drinking time, but I'll take some more tomorrow after a nice wash. You can kinda see the CPE fmic in the night pic, but not really in the day. We sliced up the front splitter the other day to fit it back on. I think it came out great! Here's a few pics:

DUDE you should come to Import Face off!!!!! in Epping on Sunday.. car looks great man!!..

Lookin sharp Douge!

Thanks bro! Been wanting that for a looong time :)

DUDE you should come to Import Face off!!!!! in Epping on Sunday.. car looks great man!!..

Thanks man! I can't drag my car just yet... I need two front tires that I'll be getting soon (bad bubble on one). The other thing is we have to check for vacuum leaks w/ the new TIP on Sat. I'm hoping they're gone, so I can break in my new map, and calibrate the MAF. Everything else in the map is just right, so the new tune should be great.

So what's the deal with Import Face Off all about? Let me know when you're around for the track after July 1. A good friend of mine and I were going to head up on a Wednesday day time, which is like $100, BUT there's like no one there, and he said you can get in as many runs in as you like and take your time... let her cool off between runs for awhile if you want. I've been to other tracks on "street night" or whatever it's called, but you're usually lucky to 2 runs in. Price wise, it's about the same, not to mention the 120 mile round trip drive (for me anyways). When everything is just right, I'd like to go on a Weds day to get the launching and shifting down. I've only launched 3x since I got the CPE rear diff mount in, and 1.89 sec 60' was my best, but I'm pretty sure I can do better with some more practice launches. I'd like to go up on a chilly Weds or Friday night though! lol

Oh okay. Yeah, I really need to polish and then wax her. Sux living in a condo because I can't even do that at my place (or work on my car here). Engine bay doesn't look so hot, lol. Too bad I couldn't make the Spring Cleaning meet. Interior looks solid though. I inhaled so much armorall fumes that it actually gave me a headache for a while after, lol.

Needs to be lowered too, but gotta get a DP first. Since the TP is straight, it makes the exhaust hang down a bit, and I only have like 4-5 inches of clearance because of it, and that's at stock height!! Good excuse to get a catted DP! lol. What time is the event on Sunday? IF I don't find any vac/boost leaks, I may come up just to hang out depending on the time. My gf has been out of town this week, and coming back around 5pm on Sunday, and may need to help her take care of some stuff. I'll def consider it though pending a few things. How much is it? And congrats on winning!

Okay cool, thanks a lot for the info man. I may have to pass this time because of short notice and the tune, etc... I take it the show is "open hood" lol. I'm in desperate need of an OCC, and would really love to take off the IM and clean it, and perhaps have the im powder-coated. Currently looks pretty grizzly, and the funds are nil atm though. Are there more events like this? I'll have to spend some time on the NE SPeedway site and see what's shaking. Do you drag race at all? I really, really want to hit low 13's, which a few people said I should be able to, BUT I'm still new to launching and FFS, so as a rookie, I'd be psyched with a 13.5.

there are tons of shows almost every weekend.. check the Nepoc section for event details.. last time i raced mine was in 07 i ran a 13.2.. havent since.. i decided to show it/ instead of race it.

ah so similar to that location in the Flex Innovations website pics of my first setup.

If you saw my CarDomain pics, i did not run any lines to the power steering pump... not sure which pic you are referring to. That whole engine bay pics with blue grounding lines is the prototype setup... Current setup in CD pics is...

Battery --> stock ground line to body
Battery --> battery bracket bolt (body) --> Throttle Body (need line back to body from here, or daisy chain for the lines below)
Battery --> VC bolt running just above the Exhaust Mani heat shield --> back to body near the ABS (not pictured)
