What have you done to your Mazda5 today?

short antenna, or sharkfin like i got. get rid of that huge whip that is on there stock.

Shorty antennae was on that list of completed items ;)

I got the Dodge Journey antennae. Works and looks great.

Didn't have time for photos today, but I'll try and get some tomorrow.

Noticed a fog light out the other day. Bought a new one but the weather has been too crappy to get under there. Just yesterday I noticed the fog was back on again. Hmmm... maybe a lose connection? Oh well.

I grabbed a leather Mazda3 steering wheel off eBay for about $50 which has the red lighting on the controls. Super easy to swap out too. Tried that route yet?

Rotated tires to verify one is a 'loud' one, changed rear shocks, oil/filter change. Next up is the front struts and isolate which pulley has a bad bearing and is causing all the whining.

Paid it off. Extra payments every payday and a 1.9% interest rate certainly helped. Sixty month loan and paid it off in only 19 months.

Got my SGII installed on the left side on the instrument panel. I'll drive her to work this week and see if that will work for me. If not, Plan B is inside the cluster under the speedo.

Painted Mazdaspeed3 rims gold and waiting till next week to mount them.
Pics or it didn't happen! :D Did you have it professionally done (perhaps your craft?) or DIY? This brought back memories of my first armature DIY job, when I had time to tinker with stuff like this.

FINALLY bought a new rear wiper blade! the original one was hanging on by a thread, I haven't used it in quite a while. bought a new one from the dealer.

Ordered 55w 6000K HID kit and LED foglight bulbs from Amazon! Repositioned the SG to the left side of the cluster under the tach, liking that location much better so far. Going to change the oil and replace the broken gas cap tomorrow. 60 degrees plus in the forecast for Sunday, time to wash her!

picked up H&R springs today, window visor yesterday and Inno rack system with fairing on wednesday.
ready for install this weekend. woo hoo!!

here it is:
speed3 Rims and tires mounted $40. remove and install the tire pressure monitor thingy in rim $20. Spring swap $140. they tire store did it in an hour and half, it would've probably taken me a whole day. ;)

installed ebay $18 window visor for 06-10 Mazda5, it fitted fine, kinda thin, but it works.

Inno racks went on very easy, installed the fairing but decided to take it off when i have the box on top. if i remove the box then i'll put the fairing back on.

Started to black out the emblems with black Plasti dip, first time using it, pretty easy, interesting concept.

this reminds me to get some window visors and a rack... guess i got too many projects this summer lol
great looking 5 sidewindr!

Finally was able to get an emblem for the 2012/2013 model!!:

Had to order from Japan, and wait 2 weeks but just applied it today. All I need is to move the steering column over to the right.... (uhm)
