But which model was this? I'm using this one: Fumoto® SX Series Oil Drain Valves

Which states:

• A larger body and quad channels allow for better flow rates and faster oil changes

Perhaps other changes were made.

The Fumoto website stated the valve end won’t stick into the oil pan for CX-5 back then for my 2016 CX-5. To me they made the false claim back then. Can’t trust them anymore. You can measure the thread length between the valve and the female thread of the drain plug on the oil pan. Some actually saw the thread part of the Fumoto valve making it shorter so that the oil can be drained more completely.
