What have you done to your CX-5 today?

It's personal preference. Perfectly safe to use conventional oil if you follow the oil change intervals in the manual, but the price difference between conventional and synthetic is so minimal, with synthetic providing much better protection in general, it's kind of a given that most would prefer using a full synthetic oil. There's no downside to it, especially when you can get a good quality oil for a low price, like Kirkland Signature synthetic 5W-30.
That oil is my 'house' oil. Works on all my cars...

Well that may have been the easiest oil change ever...been doing oil changes for close to 50 years now (hear this like an old man sharing his wisdom, lol).
Wow, that filter is tiny...and it looked very nice as I inspected the underside of the car.

I attempted to wash the car today as it was 40° the last couple of days, and it reached 50° yesterday.

However, before I could do the contact wash, I noticed water running out of the garage and heard water splashing sounds coming from near the hose bib. I quickly rinsed off the car and pulled it inside, planning to just finish with a rinseless wash. Then I opened the door to the house.

The first floor had about 1/8" to 1/4" of standing water on the floor.

I sucked up as much as I could with the shop vac while swearing like a sailor.

I later did the rinseless wash but still have a few water spots to remove.

Anybody have any experience cleaning the headliner? Picked up a 2016 GS a few months ago and the white/beige headliner is absolutely filthy, it seems extremely difficult to remove some of the stains and I've read horror stories about cleaning too much that the adhesive comes undone and it sags.

Any tips/tricks?

Maybe you should just replace it?^^^
I had a 2013 that I got a mark on and never was able to get it off.

Most of the stains in my headliner came out in a few wipes with a clean, damp microfiber. For more serious stains, I would try lightly spraying with a soapy water solution, then agitating with a soft bristled brush. and finishing with something like a Bissel LittleGreen vacuum to pull out the water. I haven't actually tried this before because again, the stains I've dealt with are minor. If you do this, try it on an inconspicuous area first to make sure you don't cause any damage.

Had some new wheels installed yesterday. Factory diameter, but in 8.5. May be lowering it next month. I have the corksport springs but still on the fence about if I want go through with it.
