What have you done to your CX-5 today?

I like Meguiars too. I've been using some Gold Class wax. Haven't had a chance to try their Ultimate wax yet.

As for Turtle Wax...seems most older folks only use that LOL! ~$5 for a cannister of it probably helps.
Gotta' say, I'm impressed. Rained during the day. Got in the freeway and all the water was swept off and to my amazement....it left none of the brown spotty residue. Still looks great. Very pleased.

Ive been using the Meguiars Ultimate range on my CX5. Ultimate Wax every 4 months. The wax goes on and off very easily and looks great.

260 is including TPMS. All 4 would be 460 including $50 trade in for good tires. This is a high mileage mule which will be sold @90k miles or so. My current tires are 7/8 by 32. So hoping for 15k more miles. Then I get a 2nd pair and make it last till selling time. With ODO at 35k buying a set of 4 now is risky.
I believe TPMS included from Discount Tire is a rebuild kit as a complete pressure sensor valve stem will be expensive. 7/32" of tread is still plenty, so why you're getting 2 new tires unless 2 of them are worn more than that? If that's the case, I'd put new tires at rear so that the old tires can wear out faster at front. Once you're getting the next 2 new tires you can put them at front and rotate tires more regularly. Tire rotation is free with Discount Tire anyway and they will insist to put 2 new tires or better tires at rear.

Nail in one tires outer edge. Its holding up well but has to go. Tires that will go have 6/32, tires being kept are 7&8/32. As long as my TPMS indicators work showing me psi of each tire am good. I have SE which has an upgraded gauge cluster.

No! The better, newer tires should always go on the front, as they're critical for steering and less likely to have a blowout than tires with less tread. Also more grip in the wet. Never put more worn tires up front, unless it's a car with staggered sizes obviously.

I disagree. You want the weight of the engine over the tires with less tread.

"When tires are replaced in pairs in situations like these, the new tires should always be installed on the rear axle and the partially worn tires moved to the front. New tires on the rear axle help the driver more easily maintain control on wet roads since deeper treaded tires are better at resisting hydroplaning"

I stand corrected. I always replace car tires 4 at a time anyway. I was thinking more about bicycles where the good tire should always be up front to aid stability in case of a rear tire blowout. A front bicycle tire blowout means almost certain crashing.

I tried their Ultimate Compound/Polish when I was trying to buff some surface scratches out to no success.

Will have to try the wax though.

Really? Will check that one out then :)

Edit: Wow that stuff is expensive.

I've been using it for almost 20 years. It has went up in price with their new line of product, but it last forever, and the best I've ever seen for black cars (red isn't bad either). Their clay bar kit is the best imo as well...

So my girlfriend was riding with me when we got to a red light. Right next to us? A sonic silver 2017 CX-5.

I point at it and say "Hey that's the new gen of my car". She looks and says "It's ugly". (rofl)

I don't think it's ugly, but definitely not at all my style.
