What do you use to detail your dashboard?

Old style. Just a dry flannel with a very small hint of Armorall, so it doesn't shine like a bowling ball's surface...

Ugh. Can't stand armor-all. I used it in my Miata, and over time it evaporated(?) up from the dash onto my windshield, creating a gnarly perma-fog that was very hard to clean. It's also, too shiny and oily for my tastes.

I keep a mini California Car Duster in the door pocket, and whip it out at stoplights from time to time to keep it from getting too nasty. Beyond that, to clean the dash I just clean the inside of the windshield, then wipe the dash down using whatever class cleaner splashed from the glass and what's on the paper towel. Works for me!

A damp microfiber cloth is all I use on all hard interior surfaces. Other than spending big bucks on 303 Aerospace (or so I've read), it's the only way to avoid a greasy, dust-attracting film on the dash.

Windex glass cleaner for the glass and any spills or finger prints, otherwise a Swiffer brush for dusting. I don't like the film left behind by detailing products.

Quik Interior Detailer by MEGUIAR'S

I like the smell of it, no shine as well.

I use the Meguiars Quik Interior Detailer, the smell is great and there is NO Shine!! It also doesn't mess up your glass or anything else.

I use Meguiars Quik Interior Detailer sprayed on to small foam pads covered in micro fiber cloth. I get no overspray and a well cleaned dash.

thanks for the response

thanks guys! so do you also put the protectant on the 'silver' trim surrounding the gear stick?(pow)

The Maguire's Quick Interior Detail spray is perfect for the plastic silver panels as well...You can spray it directly onto your center stereo console too...It wipes away clean from every surface even glass...

I use optimum protectand plus on most my jobs. 303 is a close second. cheap OTC products like armorall tend to off-gas which is why you get the film on your windshield.

OT: 7red7 don't know to many round here that know of Occy. Hang loose haole!
