What cars can a stock P5 beat?

Solaras do have manual trannies but are rare. I know because I need one as a cheap replacement for my 91 MR2 turbo. They have better syncros and they geared higher. The tranny code is E153 or something like that.

Manual mode is for 4 cylinders only, not V6.


Do you still need a tranny for the Deuce? I have one for sale.

I think I MIGHT be able to take my Komatsu, if I get a good launch on it. That thing has tons of torque. And sideshift..............and bottler's tilt................oh yeah. It's a forklift.

It came off a '95 MR2 Turbo with 120,000 miles. I'm asking $1,200 - I don't think you can find a better deal than this. The reason why this tranny came off the car was because my friend got a 3rd gen, 3S-GTE swap. Tranny's in great condition, no problems at all.

I also have a tranny from a '92 MR2 N/A if you are interested, for just $800. The tranny has about 160,000 miles.


Edit: Another friend just got another swap as well, so he has a '93 MR2 N/A tranny sitting at home.. 180,000 miles; make offer on this one.

Not interested in that price. You can get new ones from Toyota for like 1600. or used JDM ones with 50,000 milesish for 1,300 with axles which you need for 91 and 92 models

By the way I'm pretty sure the V6 Solora did have manuals. Only certian years though.

NOPE!! Manual was available in V6s from 1999 - 2001
I had a 99 V6 SLE w/ 5 speed manual before the P5.

Ok I was wrong about there not being a 5 spd. Darn it PreFknLude, that ltttle yellow ring is for th oil in his friends picture. I think most auto trannies are with a orange ring
