What cars can a stock P5 beat?

Nah his is a 2001 or 2002 SEV6 I think, not a 2003 or 2004 anyway before he knew how to drive stick good I would tie with his ass and I would be happy as hell. I just checked the Edmunds website, but they didn't show any manual V6 models. I guess that site is outdated or something. The main page on the link you just gave me shows an automatic transmission fluid dipstick.

hey bish, i have a Saturn and they are not ALL gay (rofl2). It must have been an auto and a very bad driver to boot.

I havent raced my P5 yet cuz I know its slow, but I did run my 95 SC2 and hit a best time of 16.0@84. Good luck getting your P5 to run that.

Yeah, but I'd take the extra second or so and the P5 over an ass-ugly Saturn any day.

thats not the point. The saturn cost me $1500 and I only use it for work...finding out it could run a 16.0(and prolly get into the 15s if I didnt spin the tires so much) is just a bonus.

all except for a cheap SRI, but the thing is, an SRI will not shave HALF A SECOND off your Qmile time, it will shave maybe 0.1 at the most, and most of the time driver error or inconsistancies is a 0.1s-0.3 diffrence

yeah, thats the only reason it is moderately fast...The car weighs sumthi like 2380lbs and its 124hp. They've been dynoed and stock hp is like 109 at the wheels(very little drivetrain loss)

the P5 on the other hand is supposed to be nuder 100 at the wheels, plus the extra 400lbs...

Im not saying its a race car, its a work car(i drive for work) and its nice that its a little fast and it was real cheap.

Find a copy of Motor Trend or something that lists all their car tests in the back. Then just compare.

If you want to go fast in a straight line, spend $8,000 on an old V8 muscle car that can beat a sport compact that's had $60,000 poured into it. You don't buy a Hummer to autocross and you don't buy a STI to go offroading.

My car isnt being unleashed out there yet till i get some more mods.(and im still gonna get shitted on) But that civic your talking about the lil red hatch? That s*** is real sick. One day ...one day...Oh BTW... When you see a 91 accord with a body kit and some corvette lights in it. Tell your friends to stay away thats my boy he just got it off ebay, H 22A,Nos,everythhing else from pistons to valves, We shoulda been already out there with it but when it got here on the truck it wouldnt start..Needs a new starter. I cant ******* wait to drive that car. Oh and its gonna be me racing it (glare) because my friend lost his license a few years back but he just came into some money and the deal on this car was to good to pass up. He got it for 6g's . Good ass deal(unless theres something else wrong with it that we dont know yet) What do you go to the races in?

Well suprisingly i did beat an Elantra GT commin out of class a week ago. This was a bit of a suprise beacause i hear the elantra GT has 160 horse, and at least 50ft/lbs of tq more then the P5?????????

its not always the car its the driver. You can have a fast ass car and if you dont shift right youll lose. I should know my boy has a stock 97 prelude(195 hp) buut he s**** on stuff he shouldnt. including acura rsx type s 300 z among some things

There are all sorts of things you can beat with a P5. A few things I've beat.

5th, 6th and 7th gen Civic EX's

Auto 5th gen Prelude

91 Corolla with header/intake/timing advance

94-96 V6 mustang

A prelude 5 spd can run low 15's or so with a good driver, which will easily turn a RSX-S vs. Prelude into a driver's race...along with the NA 300ZX's.
