What Car Should I Get?

Ok, so that was my main problem. I have to choose between the evo and sti(or go cheaper route and get a used WRX). I would get probably 16k-20k so i was planning on putting around 8k down on the car whatever i get. So now the question is- What is better the STI or EVO? It is tough to compare them, the STi has more power torque and is a 6 speed, but the EVO handles better...Help?!

Have you driven both? From what I understand regarding the handling, it's not that the handling is worse on the STi, it just handles differently...it's a stiffer frame and isn't as understeer happy as the Evo. Different reviewers have had different takes...if you're really between those two, then I recommend test driving both...otherwise you'll never know. For me, the STi is much higher on my list because it felt better sitting in it and it's got the 6-spd.
