Should I get OEM or aftermarket AC condenser?

I just hit a deer on the highway. The front grill got damaged and pushed into the AC condenser. I need to replace the AC condenser as it's damaged and my AC is not blowing cold air. Car is a 2018 model.

The OEM condenser costs a lot more than the aftermarket ones on RockAuto. I tend to keep my cars for a long time so I want a replacement condenser that will last. The aftermarket ones I see are CSF, TYC and Nissens. Are they good or should I just get the OEM. OEM is $500 and aftermarket is $150-$200.

I have used Nissens before and it lasted good time. Not sure avout the other two. Beware of chinese ones. They dont last.

The price diff is substanual, I would have expected less. Obviously OEM is best and it will fit for sure but its your choice at the end.
btw, Dont you have insurance?

With the labor cost and refrigerant lately probably do it once and forget it.

Denso products are generally good quality at a reasonable price and they are an OEM supplier for various components. Might investigate them.

My insurance only covers collision. Deer falls under comprehensive

How long did the Nissens last for you? I'd rather just do it once and be done with it

Rockauto only has the Denso radiators. I don't think Denso makes condensers for the CX-5

Look around a bit and don't limit your search to Rockauto. I've passed by them many times because even though their prices were good they either didn't carry what I was looking for or didn't feel comfortable with their offerings.

about 4.5yrs and I sold the car afterwards. But your mileage may vary.

You should add comp. It's not that expensive and covers alot of things that could ruin your wallet.
