2003.5 Mazdaspeed Protege-Titanium
Im thinking about selling my 2003.5 Titanium Mazadaspeed and was just wonderng what I can expect to receive for it. I am looking to buy a 2nd gen mr2 so trading it in to a dealership as part of a deal is unlikely.

20,000 miles
Good condition-no major wear or cosmetic problems

Thanks!

You can jump on eBay and you will probably see a couple for sale. I saw 2 day before yesterday. I am guessing around $15.

You never know, CarMax might have something to wheel and deal with you. I just bought mine with 29k on the clock and aftermarket parts for just over 12k. Wish I had Titanium, but Silver is fine by me.

Yeah it would be awesome if ANY dealership had a low mileagle (<65K miles) 2nd gen mr2 turbo but they are so rare I dont think im gonna have any luck...

Ive already owned 2 91 mr2s and I love the MSpeed but I miss t-ttops, 2 seats and the mini ferrari look sooooo much (drive)

I know what you mean. I had a 1988 Nissan Pulsar, and even though it's got nothing as far as hp is concerned, the T-tops, low stance, and great suspension are surely missed.

Good luck in your search. There was a MR2 on CraigsList in the area, but I heard it was a scam.

how much do u want to spend on an MR2 is the question. Its easy to find 2nd gen mr2 turbo with less then 65k. But are u willling to shell out $12k-15k for it?

I am expecting to pay around 8-10K for a 91 with less than 65K miles on it. Im focusing on 91's to keep my price lower and will not buy the first one I see and will wait for a good deal. I know they fetch a good price, but if you wait a good deal will come. For instance, I bought my first 91 turbo in 2002 with 62,000 miles on it (bone stock) for $6250. To even considering paying 12-15, it would have to be a 93+ model.

ya i'm in the same boat as u. I'm keeping my eyes open for 91-95 n/a manual t-top MR2's.

have you driven an na? Ive heard they are fun but both of mine hav been turbos and I will probably wait for one of those again....are the NA engines as bulletproof as the 3SGTE?

I have driven an N/A. I mean i want the car as a handling car not as a go fast car. If i want that, I'd get a bike. As for the engine, they are cast iron block(IIRC) and they last and last.
