in order to change my water pump ( never done this before on a MSP) do I have to remove and replace the timing belt? it was changed not too long ago, but my water pump is pretty much dead. I just want some clarification before I dive in without knowing and get stuck in a bind.

Basically I want to change the water pump without having to mess with the timing belt.

You have to take timing belt off. Check my how to video on YouTube

Ugh how fo i get the crank pulley off without the timing belt being on? My buddy somehow got the belt off without taking it off while i was inside making food...this sucks. Is this a lost hope?

You don't actually have to take the crank pulley off, but you will need an impact to remove it
