2008 CX-9 Weird noise after water pump replacement

This started with the car stalling one day and we restarted it and went another mile and realized the temp gauge was at 3/4 and climbing so we pulled over and as soon as we did it stalled again. We had it towed home since I know when the water pump goes it usually mixes coolant into the oil. When we got it home I confirmed the oil did look like chocolate milk.

I took it to a friend that is a mechanic and he checked the compression and it was great so I figured it probably didn't get hot enough to hurt the head or head gasket so we decided to go ahead with the repair. One thing my mechanic was worried about it that is set for a month with the coolant/oil mix in it so before taking it to him and ordering all the parts I drained the coolant and oil and changed it just to start it and see if it ran at all, knocked, etc. It started up and ran with a misfire and a slight squeal that went away after 1 minute, I drove it to his shop since it was just 1/2 mile down the road and as soon as I came to a stop in his parking lot it stalled.

It has a P0016 code so I figured the misfire and stalling was from the timing jumping a tooth or maybe a vvt sprocket that was damaged. He was able to change everything without pulling the motor and only charged me $780 total which I figured is a great price for that job. The car starts and runs perfect, I have driven it for 45 minutes one time and several other trips in town with no issues other than a weird noise when I start it. I'm worried the antifreeze ate the coating off of one of the bearings in the motor and it is a ticking timebomb. My mechanic said it is possible that the crank bearing was damaged but odd that the noise stops right after you start the engine.

Sometimes it barely makes the noise. I attached a video of it so you can hear what i'm describing, this is the worst it ever sounds and what it sounds like most of the time. It is not coming from the serpentine belt/pulley area. It sounds like it's coming from the driver's side near the intake manifold. maybe from inside the motor. Has anyone ran across this noise after having coolant in the oil and found out what it was? Any advice would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance
