Warning: MS3 lovefest...

New England weather over the last couple of days has been horrible: snow, ice, high winds and a bone-chill feeling in the air. Both days I drove to and from work in my MS3 and can't get over how nice a car it is. The turbo may not have that short-lived punch of power to it, but man the power comes on smooth and consistent when you need it and it handles like a dream. All four tires feel like they're firmly planted on the ground no matter what the road conditions are. And traction and stability control really prove their value the first time you have to make an evasive manuever. Even more impressive is that I am running Pirelli P-Zero Nero all seasons, not snows.

The cockpit is roomy for my 6'3" frame and very comfortable. The Bose system is very good if your listening at sane levels and the auto wipers really do a nice job in crappy weather. Seats hold me firm and my elbow rests nicely on the padded center console while my hand stirs the shifter.

More than anything I enjoy how secure and poised the MS3 feels. Just the other night a tractor trailer didn't see me and moved into my lane. All I needed to do was jab the accelerator, switch lanes and everything was OK. No hesistation, no worries and the type of refined response that confirmed that I was behind the wheel of an extremely well-engineered product.

And lastly it brought a smile to my face.

Doesn't get much better than this. :-)

Of course now I have to knock on wood so as not to jinx myself. :-)

Cool, I'm running on Pirelli P-Zero Nero all seasons too, and so far it feels great on the winterly weather we've been having lately.

I've been driving my car for 6 months now, and I still don't take it for granted. Its just a pleasure to drive.

I Love This Car

I have to agree with most everything Antonio said. (iagree)

Long Island got its first snow this past week. I got to test out the snows I have (Goodyear Ultra Grip) on snow/icy conditions. Along with the stability and traction control, the car feels so sure-footed. The best was when I was at a stop light going uphill. I see a 3 series BMW spinning its rears and going sideways, while I just zoomed by him. It was such a great feeling!(rlaugh)

I like the auto wipers too.

By the way, on dry ground I recently raced my friends G35 coupe. (wrc) Close race, but I beat him by half a car length. I have a MS CAI(dance)
