Vw R32

Just because you own a Mazdaspeed does not mean threads about a Skyline need to be in the Mazdaspeed section.

Please learn this, and do it quickly. Or else I will be forced to castrate someone.
t3ease, this is a perfect example of why organizing this forum into folders won't help to much. People will always post irrelevant crap where they think it's appropriate unless you get into their minds beforehand.

Then why did you put it in the MSP section?
I have noticed that MSP owners tend to stay only in the Mazdaspeed section. Either cause they are too shy to go else where on the board, or just because that is the only section they think exists?

There are more thread of redicouls length on that subject then I can even list and most have been banished and deleted in the flame wars sections. Point: Its been well documented and discussed, although you are correct. No need to bring this into this thread though.

You people need to relax. If you don't like the question, don't pay attention to it. The reason it was started in the MSP section is because I wanted to know what MSP owners thought about it. No need to make a career out of flaming. Why would you even bother replying if it was such a waste of your time.

This is the first off topic post I have ever done, but now I think I am done with this forum. The only reason I come to this forum is for good info and interesting conversation. "**** HEAD" isn't my idea of either.

BTW tea3e, I like your posts and this isn't a flame, but I was talking about the new Volkswagen R32 (AWD 240hp). I guess I should have titled the thread "Should I keep my MSP or buy a VW R32?" Would that have been ok?

Who said it was a waist of time, I told you we torture those that knowlingly and purposly mispost. Expect it. (wedge)

Technicly its not as you posted it in the MSP section becuase an MSP owners opinion of an R32 is entirely more important then anyone else. (jerkit)

Perhaps but you didn't nor did you mention thinking about buying one or in any way comparing the MSP to it.

a twin-turbo VR6 engine in a Golf chassis would be something to watch out for. I'm not much of a VW fan, but I know that the VR6 is a strong engine and the the Golf is decently nimble. Although it's in the same price range as the STi and Evo, I think that the VW has a lot more potential, if not just because it is a 6 cyl.

My Bro traded in his STI for a blue R32 last week. 1 word WOW!!!!!

I drove both and I like the R32(a little foot on the R32 only had 900 some miles)

What did you think of the interior? I have only seen a couple photos, but man that looks nice! I am going to jump on their media website and see if I can grab some high-res photos. I just hope that I get one to test drive here at work soon...

IMO it has a Nicer interior than both STI and EVO!!!

Small cabin as always but great interior styling. I've always liked the boxy look and the R32 hits the mark. My only concern is the badging. VW-R32 sounds like an abortion pill to me.

I've driven both the STi and Evo and I wasn't impressed by either (interior). I wish I could have sat in the R32 at NAIAS, but some stupid kids vandelized it the night before, so they had the doors locked. I knew I should have just gone to the press event.

HAHA. I think they are trying to follow the Japanese trend of giving everything a letter and a couple of numbers. I personally think it needs to go the other way. I know that "R" this and "R" that sounds sporty, but it's getting old. Let Honda keep the Type-R and start being a little more creative.

VW R-32

Top speed : 153 mph
0-60 mph : 6.2 sec.(estimated)
0- mile : 14.8 sec @ 94.0 mph
60-0 braking distance : 115 ft
200 ft skidpad : unknown

Curb Weight : 3256 lbs
Overall length : 163.3 in.
Wheelbase : 98.9 in.
Overall Width : 68.3 in.
Height : 56.9 in.

Heavy as s*** car. Slow as balls for 240 hp and 236 torque on acceleration and quarter mile. It is only .1 second faster then our car. and it is 10k more... For 10k more i'd get my car to smoke a wrx... much less this piece of s***..

Only thing its got on us is top speed and breaking. But for a 18 inch wheel and 11 inch breaks this thing sucks ass.

I almost got the 20th GTI but i didn't cuz of the preformance number were not the $5000 difference worthy.... Much less 10k difference for this one

Also remember it's an AWD car and it's more luxioury than anything. The VR6 is a tough b**** too. A WRX and EVO are close to that wieght, so I'm not sure how it's a "heavy b****."

I'm sure SRT-4 owners get a good laugh thinking about MSP's....

I say heavy b**** cuz the 3,036 lb for a stock VW vr6 that is almost a 10% increase in weight...

Well SRT-4 owners can see that our car's weight i worth the Amp and speaker. As for MSP it still handels better with more weight, what does that tell u about srt engineering... Not that i'm bashing SRT engineers....

Actually yes I am.... Dumb Dodge Engineers. (upyours)
