Visor 'droop'?

:
Lancer Ralliart Sportback
Hey all-
My stepson's RX8 has a problem. The visor tends to 'droop' (not stay up)...

What is the fix?

Also, is there a linkee to brake change manual instructions?

Thanks!

(WooHoo for me! I will be driving the car until it is sold and want to fix some minor gripes)

There's a TSB for the visor. Dealer will fix. As for brakes, you mean changing the pads?

I KNEW i asking the right people!
I love this forum!

Yes, swapping the pads.

Thanks!

Pads are straight forward.

To change front brakes:
-open hood, take cap off master cylinder, put rag around in case of spillage.
-jack car up
-remove wheel
-unbolt the bottom bolt of the caliper (14mm)
-swing caliper up
-take out pads, put new ones in. Retain the anti-rattle clips at the top and bottom of the pads
-use a clamp and one of the old brake pads to push the piston back.
-swing caliper back in place, replace bottom bolt, put wheel back on, don't forget the master cylinder cap.

Rears:
Same as front, but you can't use a clamp to push the caliper back. Instead you're supposed to use a special service tool (SST) to turn the caliper. I used a pair of needle-nose pliars, which worked just fine. There are 4 slots in the caliper, and one of these must align with a rivet on the back of the inside pad.

WoW!

I got to drive it! WoW. [big grin]

Yeah, my P5 has zoom in the twisties - but not like this. I was pleasently suprised at the torque at low RPMs. I expected to have to drive it like a two cycle!

Brakes were fine - just needed to clean the rotors.

(Before i cleaned the rotors) it gets an intermittent 'low tire pressure' light. Pressures are good. Goes away after you restart the car... Any ideas?

Will my el cheapo OBDII reader be able to pull a code for a particular sensor? Or is it a trip to the dealer?

Thanks!

That is what i suspect - how do i trouble shoot it to the exact bad sensor? Resistance? Voltage? Codes? See my question about reading the codes.
