i just noticed in th pics on the rpmstore page the pod was fully in like the stock one., mine isnt, when i push it in all the way it pops back out a little. I mean it still looks good but is it suppsed to go in all the way??

You might also check to make sure the wires are not binding.

The price on therpmstore.com is shipped to your door. The original pricing quoted in this thread at a "group buy" rate was to be ~$35 + S&H, so $39.95 to your door is actually better than that.

great product, awesome fit. wouldnt have it anyother way. i am coming from a pillar pod and got this instead. lemme tell you i feel like 100 times better about the car. it looks so clean, install was cake like. the only bump i had was i had to sand the part where the gauge slides in down, i guess my greddy is a little obese. well just got some sand paper and the dremel. came out beautiful. it is very easy to read the gauge, and is removed and reinstalled in minutes. i recommend this to anyone. elbows high and rpm store were both extra awesome with feed back and support. well enough let the pictures do the talking....

I have all parts ready for my install, if I could just get the vent gauge pod now. "therpmstore" is back ordered. All though it said available when I hit the buy button, hate that. Bought mine on Feb.25th, waiting to see how long it will be... (argh)

I don't really have the tools necessary to do a good job on that. The 52mm units are not fabbed pieces; they are injection molded, so making one for a different size gauge could take some work.
Also, I'd have to have a 60 mm gauge to size it and I don't have one that size.
If you have a 60 mm gauge, you may be able to do this yourself by simply cutting the inner barrel out of the pod and trimming back the 6 ribs so that they become 6 points of contact to retain your gauge. If you have a drill-press, this could be done fairly easily.

There is a group buy on the Aeroforce Interceptor Scan Gauge on another forum. I have the VentPod and will be installing the Aeroforce gauge when it arrives. The group buy is for $219 shipped. You will save $20. There are pics of the gauge installed on page 52 Post 773 of this thread. The color option is the same as I have ordered.
