I use "Millenium Silver". It's a Duplicolor I believe, and I get it at Murray's.
I get it in the 5 oz spray cans, but it may also be available in brush-on.

Elbows... I think you should partner up with Aaron@JSC on bundling these pods with the Defi Red Racer gauge. MTuning's pics (a couple pages back) peaked my interest and I must say... it's about as close as you could ever imagine to stock. In fact... most people assume it IS stock. The color/lighting is THAT good.

I imagine your sales would jump if you a) took the worry out of which gauge to get and B) provided an incentive ie discount off of both

Just a thought... needless to say, I LOVE my setup.

Not to beat a dead horse or anything but...

This mod is an absoulte MUST for ANY MS3 owner. Don't even think about it... just get it. The car desperately needs a turbo gauge. Why this car didn't come with one is beyond me. But whatever... at least we've got a kick ass non-rice/totally stock looking option available to us. For those who might be concerned... it doesn't hamper the heat/cooling flow one bit.

Sidenote... I think this combo should be promoted better. Granted, we've got a thread but... maybe a sticky! lol I for one wish I had found this sooner... and I'm sure many 'future buyers' will feel the same way.

Just read the suggestion regarding the Defi Red Racer gauges. You're absolutely right that they look stock, so we're going to put a package together. Defi pricing is quite competitive, so it won't be a huge savings, but it should still be cheaper/more convenient to order from one place. Our goal is to have them as an option on the site with the VentPod within a week.

Can you offer this with the Defi blue racer gauges, too?

As much action as this thread gets, a sticky wouldn't accomplish anything. This thread has been near the top since it's start.

I will, however, agree with you that everyone needs a boost gauge and this is the easiest and most stock way to get one in the car.

i just noticed in th pics on the rpmstore page the pod was fully in like the stock one., mine isnt, when i push it in all the way it pops back out a little. I mean it still looks good but is it suppsed to go in all the way??

You should be able to push it all the way in. Some vehicles are a tighter fit than others. If it pushes back out a bit, you can put some electrical tape around the outer diameter of the pod and reinstall it. That will give the hole in the dash something to "bite" into when installed. This should be shown in the installation instructions.
